here's a simple explanation of the MV according to the members themselves:
those 8 children are the younger versions of themselves. Those monsters are just the characterization of the stage fright. In other words, that's how it felt for them when they were new. And then throughout the MV we see 4 different chinese characters, 3 of them disappearing: anger (1:56), joy (2:42), sorrow (2:53), and the one that remains is pleasure (2:56). From one hand, it shows that in their beginnings, they had all these different emotions colliding inside their heads, but now, all they feel is pleasure. On the other hand, this is them hoping that, although all the emotions are important, in the end, they hope the pleasure wins when people listen to their music.
Again all of this was mentioned by them in their album intro (where they explain each song)

The mv is a metaphor for stage fright. There are 4 feelings, they disappear one by one until the pleasure remains. There are references to the film Black Knight and One Piece (Buggy mask and pirates).

That is actually interesting. From what kpop I've heard these switch ups are rather rare. They usually keep the standard verse prechorus chorus, verse bridge composition and there is little variety to it with the bridge being the stand out part.
Skz are insane with their switch ups in 60% of the discography and that is the thing I love about their music to the point I stopped noticing unless they literally do an 180 like in the sclass with the whole 90s hiphop verse out of the blue even for them. They are rap heavy so a lot of their verses are rap based with vocal prechorus and some kind of edmy chorus. Personally I am not the biggest title tracks fan and tt are where they use this formula most. I like them but real vocal and rap pearls are hidden in the b-sides. Usually simpler or crazier w the changes. They can overdo it (my side) but rarely.
