Very nicely explained. However, I was wondering how would you discriminate Lamda and Delta isomers in case of pentacordinated (tbp or square pyramidal) structures.. Kindly help

That's a good point. According to my knowledge, Lambda and Delta designation is not applicable to pentacoordinated stereocenters.
