Paul Rabil 2014 Major League Lacrosse Highlights

During the 2014 MLL season, Paul Rabil led all Cannons and finished 4th in the league in scoring with 20 Goals, 1 Two-Pointer and 33 Assists in 12 games played in 2014.
Rabil's season was cut short after 12 games because of a broken foot.
2014 was Rabil's last year with Boston Cannons, as he was traded to the New York Lizards in January 2015.

Don't know a lot about lacrosse, but this looks like a pretty rough sport. For the people who play it or watch it...I'm assuming when these guys shoot a ball, its coming pretty fast and I've felt this things at the sport shop. They're not as hard as a baseball, but its pretty close. Don't people get hit in the leg (goalie) or the helmet with these things? I see shot at goals from a ways out where a guy just whips it as hard a he can. I'd guess they can reach upwards to 100mph. Has anyone ever got it the helmet and just went down. Or in the arm or leg?

Shakester71 yeah, most goalies get used to it and are quick enough to react though but down in highschool and below its pretty common

It does hurt I'm a defender and I get hit a lot by the end of every game I check myself for bruises and that how I know how hard I was working

Rabil is the perfect example of how far you can go in lacrosse by just being athletic.
I'm not saying he has no stick skills and or lacrosse IQ, I'm just saying his athleticism is the only thing ascending him from being an "average" mll player.

You clearly don't see how much his game has expanded since last year. If he was only averagely athletic he would be playing at a higher level than the majority of the league.

Obviously his athletics make him a better player, but even w/o it he'd still be better than than your average mll player. He has one of the best iq's out there. He's the type of player that you don't have to coach

I like that rabil has worked in his passing game a lot but he misses a lot of chances to score were he easily could score and I think that's y he wasn't the MVP or offensive player of the year this year
