A very interesting talk on wildlife in Sri Lanka indeed. These living creatures Gehan De Silva talks of are our national treasure and should be protected and not destroyed. In my opinion your books should be taught at schools in the country so that our children can learn to appreciate the fauna and flora of our island. Bringing about awareness through education is the only way to protect our wildlife. Our politicians could do with a bit of it too ☺️. An expert like Gehan is someone who can hopefully speak to the politicians and make them listen. No country can afford to destroy its natural world. The COVID pandemic is an example of what happens when we mess with nature. Live and let live. 🙏

Fascinating talk. I hope I can get to Sri Lanka for a visit sooner rather than later.
