- Australian UA-cam creator Natalie Tran was challenged to try and eat her way through Melbourne, a city that is world famous for its culinary scene and dining options.
In 24 hours, Natalie Tran worked her way through some of Melbourne's most iconic hidden cafes, secret bars, street eats and travelers favourites.
The culinary scene in Melbourne is truly innovative, offering a huge diversity in cultural cuisines and at multiple price points. Whether they'd like to enjoy fine dining, casual coffee drinking from a hole in the wall coffee shop or simply brunching in a cozy lane way restaurant, every food aficionado is sure to be pleasantly surprised by the diversity the city is known for.

I'm born and raised in Melbourne and have never been to any of these Cafes or restaurants. I should really start exploring my city, because they look amazing!

Thanks for this video Nat, I left Melbourne last year to study abroad in the USA. This got me all nostalgic and I think I'm gonna cry. I left my best friends, coffee and all my favourite restaurants behind. When I saw you walking up the curtain house building to the rooftop bar, I basically shed a tear. Funny how it's small moments like that are what bring back all the memories.
Classy as all get out, eating a massive slice of cake while you walk. I whole heartedly approve and I strive to be you one day...

Melbourne is a cool city. Loved all the laneways, really unique bars, cafes and shops. Impressive mix of grand and small heritage buildings as well as contemporary architecture, lots of buskers, great public transport. All the old houses in the inner suburbs were stunning.
Also an insane variety of cheap food from all over the world. I read somewhere that per capita Melbourne has the most cafes/restaurants in the world :)
Basically I need to move there haha.

Hihou is one of the best memories I have. It took us about fifteen minutes of walking around in confused circles to get to it, but once we were up there it was amazing. Still yet to go to Cookie or ChinChin due to their pricing, but some other Melbourne favourites are Mamasita, Little Hunter, Bar Lourinha & The Moat. Don't even get me started on all the good coffee spots. I'm so glad I chose to move here.
