The music…the camera pulling out with just her face in the window and the sun reflecting off the windows. He let her live her life and find her own way. Amazing ending to one of the best films of all time.
@@jojohanna217 well she was married. And it seemed clear that since she invited her husband to live with her in dublin she wasn't interested in affairs. And he probably needed the change. Sometimes you need to move on from a place.
Haven't seen the movie, but I thought she had butter or oil in the pan and was putting in spices before the rest of the ingredients. Not unusual, IMO. How do you know she was making eggs?
@@l.a.3479 oooh, great point -- we do NOT know it's eggs. But she doesn't have oil in the pan, and it's definitely not normal to add spices and then "stir" with a spatula 1-2 inches *above* the pan. All low-budget film-making magic, cutting corners for a two-second cut-in of the mom
Oh I didn't think that way .... Is it so ? If so, then why we saw the girl happily staying with her husband... I think he's gone to London with a smile
What I love about this movie is that it feels like a typical romance film until you realize that the love is really between people and the transformative nature of music.
Fantastic movie! I'm so glad that she had the rare wisdom to go back to heal and mend her relationship with and start anew with her husband and father of her child. ^_^
One of the best endings of a film ever, I'd say.
13 ?
Nah

She also had the wisdom to go back to mend her relationship with her husband.
Tell us the end why don't you.
@@joebloggs513 Or you could just watch it above lol
Literally started crying when it cut to him smiling
This ending is so real and so cruel and I keep coming back to it. The music and story, it's just perfect.
It would have been cruel if she had stayed with him and broke up with her husband.
@@EmilyGloeggler7984 how true as well
This movie is all about human kindness. I adored it.
Always breaks my heart a little when she looks out the window, to what could have been but never will. x
He did such a great thing for her. And that was the proof of how much he actually loved her.
So why he had to go??

@@johnwinchesterp2963 nicely put. Are you from Dublin too?
@@jojohanna217 No the other side of the world compared to dublin. But I liked the song so I saw the movie.
@@jojohanna217 Right person, but wrong time.
This song is so perfect makes me cry
If you don't notice the mother making eggs with no eggs in the pan, then you're just not paying attention. Genius budget rogue film-making.

This little film is all heart ❤️
I like to think he never left for London and that's why he was smiling when he was walking and that it was him on the bus when it pulls up
Oh I didn't think that way .... Is it so ?
If so, then why we saw the girl happily staying with her husband... I think he's gone to London with a smile
That's what my wife thought...I said it wasn't so. Makes for a much more impactful and real ending when they part ways.
he was smiling because he knew it that around that time she received the piano

Awe he gave her a piano, so she'd always remember him everything she played it!
I haven't seen this movie yet, but now I really do want to see it!!
*every time

Hearing the first few notes of this song makes me burst into tears 😭 My go to if I need a good cry fest
A very unHollywood ending, and I love it!
Fantastic film, I wish he didn't go back to the girl that cheated on him though
Como se llama esta película?
É o final feliz mais triste que já vi na vida...
Toda vez que vejo, eu choro
The best Drama & Musical movie ever in my opinion Love it so much never ever tired of watching 💓
So she had an affair with a musician?
Yes
Such an amazing movie. And I don't really like movies. He gave her the gift of selflessness. It allowed her to remedy her depression. God bless
This movie is so perfect. 😭😭😭
That song ripped my heart 💔🔥
Thanks!
I was looking for this.
Great
