Here's a tip for you. Chained tires are very bad in the mud/off roading terrain. Always use mud tires for that terrain.

For this mission do I have to go here to get long logs or can I go somewhere closer ?

Also, how do any of you complete any jobs in island Lake?! There isn't a freaking garage on this map!! I can't get anything done for running out of gas!!!!
Torturing yourself using chain tires. Off-road work best on a most trucks (likely can't use mud tires on that rig, but they're even better).
