And there is a theory that some of the bones are members of the same family who were killed in a... *cave-in*. Wyatt descendant of Julien theory confirmed???
What I find kinda funny about this is that that site is in a desert. It might be a stretch, but Wyatt in the second video mentions that it’s been raining for 3 weeks yet the staircase was “as dry as a desert.” Was this possibly foreshadowing?
(my interpretation of this track) it starts off sounding natural with a low blow of a horn, but it quickly branches out into several seperate tones as it begins to wave in an otherworldly way, with the last pitch almost seemingly getting forcibly dragged up to the rest of the sound planes.
the more it repeats the less comfortable you feel as the sounds etch itself into your mind, creating an ominous void, and a sensation of a hellish purgatory you are stuck in; wandering a world you don't belong to. 1:40 the sounds of distant, almost angelic-like echoes come closer as you almost feel a sense of hope or rescue, but they fade suddenly as quickly as they had come, only to be deprived of any chance of escape. maybe its the aura of a god making judgement upon you; your aspirations and your soul, discarding it all without a second thought. now you realise this is your new home, you have become part of the void. the horn blows once again, but this time without a presence to be hearing it. the sounds, the waves, nothing but distortions from the souls of the damned.

Just felt like noting, it can be argued that The Oldest View isn't Analog Horror. It more fits the definition of outright Found Footage. (But it still has aspects of Analog Horror present, though) But yes, it absolutely has the potential to be unbelievably freaky.

genuinely so glad you're still making eerie, atmospheric music like this. you absolutely nailed the vibe of the backrooms ost, and are really nailing the vibe of this too, especially considering the part of dispersal this plays at!
Is anyone else hearing some sort of clipping noise when the song gets louder or do I just have bad headphones? I'm not sure how else to describe it. Edit: Listened to it with some different headphones. My others were just bad, so we're good.
Since The Oldest View is warning against digging too deep (I think maybe), I'm gonna dig a little deeper; Jebel Irhoud is considered to be the site where the first of our kind, homo sapiens, were found. The site includes several adults and a child aged around seven years old, as well as gazelle remains that were cut into. Cause of death, I cant find anything on, and I also need to look into the individuals who discovered/studied the site! Gonna look for that when I get free time today

Jebel Irhoud or Adrar n Ighoud, is an archaeological site located just north of the locality known as Tlet Ighoud, approximately 50 km south-east of the city of Safi in Morocco. It is noted for the hominin fossils that have been found there since the discovery of the site in 1960. Originally thought to be Neanderthals, the specimens have since been assigned to Homo sapiens and, as reported in 2017, have been dated to roughly 300,000 years ago. -Wikipedia
tov 5, it makes the most sense. the oldest view, no we're talking ancient here. Maybe some things are best left unfound. maybe this track represents foreshadowing of such discovery, and the consequences along with it. idk but its spooky
So if this implies that there WILL be another part in the oldest view, then maybe that screenshot from a month back (posted on his main) might be an image of where it will be edit: this could also possibly just be an unused track or something, but I kinda doubt it

Anatomically modern humans have existed for approximately 300,000 years.
Recorded history accounts for roughly 1.6% of this time.
Jebel Irhoud is an archeological site in Morocco - a cave containing 300k year old hominid fossils

With music like this and the pulling from real places and history, TOV has the potential to be one of the creepiest analog horror series’s.

Aha, oh WOW. I do NOT like THESE VIBES.
My theory about the oldest view is that
The giant and wyatt are the same person think about it
Why would the giant have not attacked him while wyatt is on the ground or eaten wyatt
And why dose the giant follow wyatt
The giant is a prisoner To this world
The one that was trapped
a boniest and a nature puppet are the same person
while they were alive they did the same thing
wyatt entering the mall is setting the giant free from is prison
Wyatt ran to show the giant out
But when he reailses that he cant he jumps on purpose i mean u can tell he dose
because in dispersal the same thing happens but he makes it out so he jumped to stay with the giant and the giant stayed with him waiting for the stairs to open so they can leave.
This sounds actually amazing bro
