I said it from the beginning, during the Tory leadership race: Kemi is all posture and soundbites but when it comes to the crunch she is out of her depth. The Tories may have lost all credibility after their 14 years, but they’ve made their position worse with their choice of leader. I will eat my hat if she leads them into the next election (to be fair she has already hinted that she doesn’t want to become PM, so at least she’s being realistic about that.)
@@pascal8306 I think I said it in my post. All posture and soundbites, out of her depth on the substance. You can tell she struggles to think on her feet during PMQs and is too heavily dependent on her script.
@ what would be an example? I drew the opposite conclusion, I thought she’s quite good on her feet. I don’t think any of the jibes she threw at starmer were scripted, you could see she came up with them herself.
@ It wasn’t just this particular session, but her performance overall since the beginning of this Parliament. At one point for example she criticised Starmer for following a script, and was flummoxed when he pointed out that she was reading her criticism from her own notes. And although it’s not for the Tories to have a manifesto at this stage, whilst she is attacking Labour’s economic policy she is unable to respond at all to the obvious question as to what the Tories would have done to “fix” the huge hole they had created in the public finances. Instead all we get is empty rhetoric and soundbites; she is yet to land a meaningful blow on the opposition, which is exactly the reason she was chosen as leader, and what had been expected of her.
It's disgusting to think they are paid around £100000 for that nonsense the whole system needs to be dismantled and they should be on the average 30/40 thousand a year then they would fully understand what people are going through and they have the cheek to call that work?
They're [businesses] not cutting jobs because of the budget. They're cutting jobs to boost profit margins which will yield higher dividend payouts for shareholders which will bolster further investment from said shareholders. That is just the way businesses work. Higher profits is always the main aim above all else. Businesses will run at a bare minimum if it means they can get by and still yield a higher profit.

Starmer has basically turned into Sunak. Rather than answering questions, he’s just throwing jibes at the opposition. How are these two the most influential parties in the country? I didn’t vote Reform, but I can definitely see why younger people are being swayed towards them.
She is so out of her depth she makes rishi look like a total statesman, she actually raised questions about all the things that tories caused over 14 years…absolute own goal,!the tories should sack the Tory members and change the voting process as they have no idea how to pick a winner
She has to stop saying 'the system is broken'. I don't know whether she desperately clutches at straws bc of lack of self awareness or bc she's searching for an angle from which to attack. Maybe both. She needs to take a leaf out of the Republicans book and change the playing field (by changing the party), until then the cat will toy with the mouse unchallenged

As for the bogus petition started by musk and his bots 90% of the names are from people living abroad who haven’t lived here for years and I’m pretty certain there will be names on the petition of people who have never lived here. Any reasonable person would realise 14 years of Tory cuts and abuse of the public finances for personal gain will take years to clean up. Labour have only just started, let’s see how they do after a couple of years trying to fix things then re-evaluate the situation.

That is probably the worst LOTO performance I've ever seen. The first question by Badenoch was actually good, probing a fairly rash soundbite by Reeves about not putting up taxes again. The leader of the opposition, who watched one after another leader of the governments she was part of, quit, doesn't understand how the system works. She is clearly "deliberately ignorant." Which would make her a TROGLODYTE!
Rayner getting control of the government? God help us.
The audacity to criticise when you're the ones who created the mess is quite something
Yes it's astounding watching them pretend the last 14 years haven't happened.
Mad ain't it
The main parties need to go…
They both created this mess, look as far back as the 60s and then you’ll see each successive government screwing over the public and public services….
And the Tory’s think this woman is their saviour!
They thought that about loony Liz Truss too. That went well.Not. She does not get any better. Still hopeless. She quotes Tory institutions like the CBI, for support. Really. What else are they going to say? She has just announced a policy of massive tax cuts for the rich, without any explanation of where the money will come from. Same old, same old from the Tories. Loony Lizz mark 2. Just as night follows day, the Tories look after the rich at the expense on the poor. Just like a leopard cannot change it's spots.
Well they’re polling above Labour already.
@@stuartrichards-d6o …yeah, but the election is not for another 4 years.
They did that with the last guy Sunak , hoping he was going make Britain better look where it got us
@@stuartrichards-d6olies
Tories continuing to show why they lost the election and why we are in the mess were in after their 14 years , as far as the petition goes Elon musk bots
They’ve yet to suggest how to fix their own mess 😅

Hob Nobbing with the minted Viscounts drinking Rich Teas. Even a Penguin could work out that would lead to a Trio of election losses.

She's clearly thinking "I'm so extra" and it's just not it.
This lefty thinks he can read minds…
Who do we blame for where we are, the party in power for 3 months or those in power for the 14 years previous?
Silly question it's all Browns fault.. nothing they have been able to do about that since... Keep up
@@jamesbirch130 Curious to hear why you think it's Brown's fault... And please don't say because of the GLOBAL financial crash.
I can't stand the sight or sound of Starmer....
That front Opposition bench is the Muppet Show.
Yes and the govt benches are Fraggle rock.
Did she really say Starmer should resign to find out Tory policies and ideas? Does she not take being opposition seriously or...?
Just so boringly uninspiring from the opposition
Kemi “the government doesn’t make growth business do”
Later
Kemi “mr speaker that growth was *our* work”
Just so pathetic
I said it from the beginning, during the Tory leadership race: Kemi is all posture and soundbites but when it comes to the crunch she is out of her depth. The Tories may have lost all credibility after their 14 years, but they’ve made their position worse with their choice of leader. I will eat my hat if she leads them into the next election (to be fair she has already hinted that she doesn’t want to become PM, so at least she’s being realistic about that.)
Why dyou think Kemi isn’t a good choice?
Cleverly would have made a more effective choice
Think kier forgot to declare badenoch among his gifts :/
Not that old chestnut again😜
The lack of self awareness from Tories is absolutely mind blowing.
They were bad as a government and even worse as opposition.
@@david-pb4biAgreed. At least the damage they can do to the country in opposition is much less!
@@david-pb4bi But the Tories didn't have 2.8 million signing a petition to get them out
@@stevefoster5789 That’s just nonsense, did they need voter ID to sign that petition?
Have to say the same for Labour, no?
This Starmer guy quantifiably taking us down.
Brexit has done far more damage to business investment than this budget, yet no-one seems to want to mention that...?!
Because people have moved on.
@@sionpritchard2060 I doubt it, the people tend to hold grudges quite well.
🥱🥱🥱
I didn’t think I could dislike anyone more than Sunak, Johnson and Truss…
It's disgusting to think they are paid around £100000 for that nonsense the whole system needs to be dismantled and they should be on the average 30/40 thousand a year then they would fully understand what people are going through and they have the cheek to call that work?
“The whole system we setup over the last 14 years is broken.. why didn’t you fix it in 3 months?” 🤣🤣
Business? - didn't their hero Johnson have a choice word for business? Let me see now, what was it....?
Three words: Pepper Pig World.
Where's the petition for the 40 new Hospitals ?
And affordable social housing...
Dear lord 💀 Badenoch would be out of her depth in a puddle
If she keeps making Corbyn stories using businesses it will eventually start to sound like whining
Spot on, the problem is your average Tory or Reform Party Ltd voter don't understand how companies work. 😂😂😂😂

Poor old Kemi, completely out of her depth. Lovely lady but is this the best the conservatives can do?
Badenoch sounds like a kid that has won a “Jim will fix it” badge
After meeting Rolf Harris 😅😅😅
She is clearly out of her depth!
A Prime Minister that actually answers questions rather than babble incoherently.
This comment is a joke right?
Tories are unreal. Moaning about issues they introduced. Vile party.
Tories destroyed the lot for 14 years how can she complain
Both of them are pretty awful to be honest. Badenoch is just unskilled in being a worthy political opponent, and Starmer (along with his cabinet) have managed to destroy any shred of credibility that the Labour Party had left and has done more damage than Corbyn would have ever done. Starmer has basically turned into Sunak. Rather than answering questions, he’s just throwing jibes at the opposition. How are these two the most influential parties in the country? I didn’t vote Reform, but I can definitely see why younger people are being swayed towards them.
Nodding dogs on the front bench.
The Labour bench yes l totally agree
She is so out of her depth she makes rishi look like a total statesman, she actually raised questions about all the things that tories caused over 14 years…absolute own goal,!the tories should sack the Tory members and change the voting process as they have no idea how to pick a winner
Her accent is so affected. Why does she pretend like that.
She grew up in Nigeria.
Nobody is talking about the serious damage done by Brexit and 14 years of corrupt incompetence.
No damage from brexit nothing has changed. Deal with it

That Badenoch woman gets more and more forgetful and desperate every week. They were in charge for 14 years and ****ed EVERYTHING.
and now we have socialists effing everything up too.
Keir keeps giving the same answer to each question asked, fact is all are now worse off with Labour in power !!!!
How dare badenock criticise Starmer, for attending meetings around the world with world leaders, when sunak hired helicopters to travel through the uk as a taxi at tax payers expense.
It doesn’t matter what you say as the opposition he would always blame someone else, that is his get out of jail card
She was terrible ... with a grin on her face!!!

The Tory party is dead, Patel, Badenoch, Philp (the list can go on) - zero talent, no ideas.
Big L for Kemi for bringing up the online petition, ain't nobody taking that seriously
As they shouldn't. The petition to reverse brexit was far bigger. That didn't get looked at. Labour were voted in, wait til the next election
Imagine if we all behaved like this in our own places of work, people pointing the finger of blame and trying to score points off each other, and the booing and jeering by the crowd.
Tories just making more noise. About time they had another leadership contest. 😂
That is probably the worst LOTO performance I've ever seen.
The first question by Badenoch was actually good, probing a fairly rash soundbite by Reeves about not putting up taxes again. I'm sure that was prepared. After that, she was all over the place, and pretty dishonest. The budget may have reduced the number of people who would be hired, but it hasn't led to jobs being cut. The OBR sees massive employment growth overall.
"If he wants to know what conservatives would do..." I think we all know that after the last 14 years, Kemi the clown.
Badenoch is BAD 🤡🤡🤡
