With kick or without, should be an option at the showroom...jisko jaisa chaiye vaisa le le but this involves more R&D work with FI ....maybe business team carefully compared the statistics of how many wanted n did not want a kick . If your product is able to target more customers regardless of their physique, your sales would be better...

As an european, I WANT THE KICK STARTER BACK! Without it, you don't feel is a "classic" anymore. In my opinion, without the Kickstarter, LCD screen and less power, the classic feels more soulless! Everyone loves the Kickstarter. Hope they bring it next year with more available colours.... I am going to postpone the buying. I consider even the Yamaha SR 400, as it is a classic with a Kick start.

Actually I use kick even though I have self start. I love kick starting a bike.
I think the first point is good to activate the ecu you need battery. And even on cold conditions and hot condition. Bike starting (interceptor and gt) has proven that thing maximum customer doesn't face that starting problem.

Good video, bro -we miss old neutral lever ,which use to bring bullet into neutral from any gear & kick is missing ,feels awkward as anyone who sits on bike ,feet automatically searches for kick ,which has vanished, atleast kick should be dere as it's part of historic bullet ,seat seems odd,single long seat was more good,even thump is no good like the old bullets of year 2000 ,with gears on right side,i still like old macho thump ,they ruined the name

My first choice was RE Classic Stormrider Sand instead of Honda H’ness CB 350 only because of beautiful colour and availability of KICK START.
But on a/c of high price of RE Classic and availability of good amount of features in low priced Honda H’ness as compared to RE Classic, I booked Honda H’ness after test riding both the bikes on the same day.
H’ness has more features and more refined engine as compared to RE Classic.
But the unavailability of Kick Start in RE Classic Next Gen made me more remorse and unhappy.
I thought of trying it, but NO KICK START.

In FI system , its imperative that oil flow is established before the engine starts . That is possible only with a computer software activated by constant electricity . And hence a strong battery power is an inescapable requirement here. The same is not possible with a kick action , so the kick assembly is removed totally .
In the meantime all CDI and carburetted owners can rejoice !

Lucklu I got my RE classic with kick in BS 6 first model. I got all the things with inbuilt nitro suspension like Classic BS 4.
Thank you Paaji. So then what about cold start ? Direct starting with self after a break of about 06 hours or overnight, oil will get displaced all over from within. Also, when pushing to start, bike had to be in second gear ?

It's same like mobile bro. Today's engines do not need kick. You'll see more cc bikes with no kick. Like when touch screen came there were mobiles with button and touch. But touch is improved so much that there is no need for buttons. Same with kick.

Finally a design change of the classic. Kick start is and will be a great option if and battery is low and stuff, hopefully the bike will be stable and wouldn't need any kick start.

Isi liye bhai, vibration hone par vi, maine last batch of bs4 liya hai, simple hai, road side me koi vi thik kar dega, all over mkt me parts mil jate hai, maine meteor ka fi pump kharab hone ka news bhi dekha hai. But have no choice, cost cutting to hai hi, par thoda sa ultra modern, baki sab bike se vi kick gayab hai, low cc me hai honda bajaj, but Yamaha to kisime nehi hai.

Yes .. the official answer is bs6 is electronic fuel injection with digital ecu! So kick is not needed!
But we need kick as a backup in bad situation or low battery 🤦!

Meri tb500 cc hai self is ok still maxm time I use kick start. I am.not sure k in bs6 me in future hum carborator pe convert kar sakte hain ya nahi but for old 500 cc RE bikes we have replaced FI with carburetor and in this case kick plays a important role. Also kick hone se bike ki look hi ek alag janti hai.
