I remember when I was WAY younger me and my family would ride that train every year for a Christmas tradition, it was flipping awesome, we all even got some hot chocolate and everything. It may have been eleven years ago when I was five, but hey, I remember it clear as day.
Still running, even through COVID. Nice! I love the Stanley Park Train. The BC Wildlife Park in Kamloops also has a miniature rideable train and they always run it during their Wild Lights Christmas celebration it’s fun. And while you’re in Metro Vancouver there’s a carousel in Burnaby that’s over 100 years old that you can also ride
Yes! I've been to the Wildlife Park a couple times, but haven't made it for the Christmas event. Love the carousel at Burnaby Village - It's a great activity for families :)
A new friend from California. You have a great name..) I really liked the light display in Vancouver. Hopefully, ill visit Canada next year. Its a Christmas vibes everywhere. Its great to see the people go all out in decorating their homes, boats etc. Glad to connect with you.
@@ExitThrutheGiftShop Fantastic let’s find a time when we can meet up in person I am interested in meeting as many local UA-camrs as possible while we are limited in international travel
@@ExitThrutheGiftShop excellent should we try to coordinate something around the Surrey lights? Is that an outdoor event and what time would be good I've also connected with you on Facebook I'm not sure if it was the right one on Instagram and I've got a local cell phone I can share with you so we can coordinate a good place and time I'm very happy to meet with any good UA-camrs here in the Vancouver area while waiting for the world to reopen I'm have so much to learn from others and whatever I've learned I'm happy to share
What a wonderful place. We have a light show in a country town called Loxton in South Australia, (not as spectacular as this) but recently got damaged by vandalism!!! thanks for the video and Merry Christmas to you and yours!!

Wow 🤩 those lights are amazing 😀🎄
I really enjoyed this event. First time I've been and the number of lights and displays was impressive!
OMG I Love It 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Would love to walk thru that, especially after a long day. Figure you'd have to feel really peaceful afterward.
Very beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

Great memories!
Also, it really reminds me of the train tour at the Britannia mine in Squamish.
And yeah, so many awesome memories.
That was pretty cool!! Nice train ride and it sounds like it's for a really good cause!!!
I was really impressed - the whole place was covered in lights!
Great job 👏

Sorry to hear that! I can't imagine why anyone would want to harm a Christmas display! Wishing you an amazing holiday season :)
Did they bring back the food stands as well?
There were three food stands selling popcorn, mac and cheese and various other treats!
Cool
Thanks for watching Naomi!
How long is the ride
It's about a ten minute ride plus time to explore the exhibits out front!
Coming tomorrow
Have a great time 🎄🌲🌲
