If I remember right, this is between Costa Mesa's Tuesday and Wednesday routes bordered by Newport Bl on one side. I know I drove past this a couple months ago but they run this route pretty early so they were already done before noon... We enjoy all your vids, keep up the good work and have a Merry Christmas!
@RainbowDisposal Yeah, I used to like the route right across Newport that they collect on Wednesday. Lots of one man there plus RLs and it is pretty big. BTW, the Tuesday Costa Mesa route just to the South of the one you video'ed above, they still use one of their old Manual Side Loaders that they converted with a tipper. It is a nice looking truck, they refurbed it with lots of chrome and it is fun to watch. Hope you enjoy an awesome New Year!
@DisposalAlternatives You are absolutely correct. I believe the area's all done by noon. I filmed this around 10AM and most of the area was nearly done by 12PM with the exception of some alley routes and a few one-man routes. Thanks, glad you do. Merry Christmas to you too.
@RainbowDisposal It runs on Tuesday in the alleys just south of this route. Just head a few blocks down Newport Ave after this route is done because it runs around noon so the timing should be perfect to catch both routes...
@r6man2 Thanks. Nah this is off Dover Dr. and Pacific Coast Hwy. San Joaquin Blvd. is where the Friday routes are located I think. Not sure how many they have total.
@DisposalAlternatives I've seen those alleys there before off Santa Ana Ave near E. 17th St. Seems like an ASL would collect there. Maybe this April I'll swing by and see what I can find.
@DisposalAlternatives Really? They still have that truck? I thought they got rid of it when the fully automated Rotos came in. That truck would be perfect for the new Toters that CR&R is passing out to Costa Mesa residents. No roll-out, just by request from residents. You know what streets it runs on and what time?
@thebagmonkey12 This manufacturer refuses to sell their products to Canada and most of the US for some reason. In this part of the US, waste is collected mixed and sorted for recycling at a recycling center.
@RainbowDisposal Not sure of the street names there, just go south on Newport past the route you video'ed above will you hit the alleys... As soon as you see the Costa Mesa Disposal bins in those alleys you found it….;)

I'll keep my eyes open for the vid, I'm pretty sure the truck is still used there, saw it at the yard last week and it still looks nice...
Very Nice, glad to see 36, do the one manners go on to rear loaders later, or no since there are no alleys, and Merry Christmas

Great job! This is like off San Joaquin BLVD? If I remember the area right?? How many trucks to they have again.
Nice! I like the cab.
@josh578rules
There's a blade inside the truck that compacts all the garbage towards the back.
@internationalRLfan
Thanks. Glad you do.
@DisposalAlternatives
Oh alright. What other street is it around (Newport Blvd. and ...)?
@RainbowDisposal and it is with a FL and not a RL. Keeps the streets cleen too!

@RainbowDisposal cool!! But it must be hard to sort because everything is squished together.
@mtr82952
Thanks. I don't think they do on the other days of the week. Thanks, you too.

@Burrtec100
There'll be more probably this February.
nice!
@Trashman242
Thanks. LOL Dave (staintedcards) can't stand when they do that.
@bdmcneilusmsl
Thanks. Yeah I like seeing cans with lids on them. Makes everything look nicer. Yeah kinda, just without the account numbers.
@RainbowDisposal Yep, oh allright, yep
@legodude24652
Thanks
@wmautoreach123
Thanks
@bdmcneilusmsl
I'd rather have a full size RL. Would be cool to have that in SoCal.
@thebagmonkey12
Hell no. I could get in trouble or the drivers in trouble for doing that.
@Trashman242
Hahaha yeah
wish we had these in canada. but at leastwe recycle!!!
@garbageboy2009
I hope not.
@mtr82952
Mmhmm
