uses of adverbs of time:
1. When something happens
Examples: now, then, today, tomorrow, yesterday, later, soon, tonight
Usage:
I will call you tomorrow.
She visited her grandmother yesterday.
2. How often something happens (frequency)
Examples: always, sometimes, often, rarely, never, frequently, occasionally, usually
Usage:
He always goes for a run in the morning.
We rarely eat out.
3. For how long something happens (duration)
Examples: all day, for a while, temporarily, forever, since, yet, still
Usage:
They have been waiting for hours.
I will stay temporarily.
4. Position of Adverbs of Time in Sentences
They are usually placed at the end of a sentence but can sometimes appear at the beginning for emphasis.
End of the sentence: We are meeting tonight.
Beginning of the sentence: Yesterday, I finished my project.
5. Examples in Sentences
I haven’t seen her since last week.
Recently, he moved to a new city.
