Which area of the power saddle need to be horizontal to the ground? Mid to tip of the nose, wing to tip of the nose or back end to tip of the nose? Thanks in advance 😊
I ride the sworks mirror power and it is sublime. Completely disappears under me on long rides. I’ve had some hot spot pain on my sit bones on 4+ hour rides and now that has been completely resolved. The saddle is expensive and worth every penny.
No Mimic, no Bridge model discussed? I'm 6'3" 230 pounds and road ride 100 miles a week. Sit bones at 120mm. 50% is HIIT workouts. Last week, I spent 2 hours for fitting at LBS and we looked at all the Specialized saddles you listed - and many more. The best of me was the Bridge Comp with Mimic (155mm). I would have spent any amount and this saddle was only $104. Changed my life. I wish you had included Bridge and Mimic in your review.
Which version will be most comfortable in -10C ? I have Fabric Scoop shallow Race, which is very harsh in sub zero temps. But I heard good things about cold weather riding in Specialized saddles even the Comp.
I worked in a bike shop that carried Specialized and never heard such a concise explanation of their saddle lineup. Respect! 👊🏼
Thanks Chris! We have some pretty smart people working here.
Never knew Will Forte was a biker. Good to see he got a job after SNL. Good for him :)
Love my power saddles, got a comp on the gravel and an expert on the mountain bike. Nice and short, but super comfy and supportive for me.
Great information. Even the sales staff at Specialized retailers do not know how to explain this as well as you do.
Super helpful video! Well done.
This was veryyyyy helpful, thank you so much!

This is the most important information besides saddle width.
Thank you for this great explanation! I ride a power mimic, but think I’d be more comfy on a romin mimic. Time to go shopping 😎
Get after it! Glad it was helpful.

I love Aliante!!!

Hey Adam! Thanks for the feedback! Glad you found a saddle you like! Definitely an important piece of enjoying time on the bike.

Is the Romin in the video the gel version? What’s the difference in it vs the Evo Romin?
What about saddle tilt for these saddle types?
thank you very usfull video
The only thing that hurts more than a crash is a $450 saddle with bent or cracked rails after a crash.
Woof, for sure. Keep the rubber side down!
I would love a saddle without the hole for winter and biking. It's simply too cold.
Not a bad idea!
Foam and tape 😂 bodge
Let's face it GCN never a clue. little kids who think they are big boys.
Specialized definitely mastered sales and marketing with respect to Bullshitting people into these prices. Give me a break!
Their mimic saddles are the only ones I can ride on without raw sores, and I’ve tried at least 15 other brands. For that, I’ll pay what they ask…
Ya I think I would rather take the $450 and buy a backup mid-tier rear shock and still have enough to get a $40 seat
🤣🤣🤣nailed it
