She did it so calmly yet detailed. I acted out a frenzied squirrel fight in theatre class today and now my thighs are sore from the crouching and "crawl-running". T^T
I am in an art integration course for my master's degree and needed a piece of artwork that showed someone dancing or acting like some sort of animal, and receiving and communicating information. This video was an answer to my prayers! It is perfect for what I need. Thank you so much, Lucy! You are amazing!
This is the best pantomime scene I have ever seen because it imitates squirrels, I am an actor as well, and I remember when I joined the higher institute of dramatic arts
Wonderful miming. Meaning everything, especially the eating, felt real. The thing that would be almost impossible to capture, and it wasn’t attempted here, is the brilliant exuberant playfulness. Yes, squirrels have those full stop arrests, in fear or attentiveness, which here are done perfectly, but they also have long improvisations of gymnastic inventiveness, showing off, unexpected humor and self intoxication. Watching this artist, it’s almost enough to make me wish I were 40 years younger and working on performing again. I said “almost.”
Weiterhin viel Erfolg!
Quite convincing, the only part she messes up a few times like at 2:25 where you don't initially beleive that she's actually clawing at invisible animal matter
Brilliant.. Observing and capturing and then reenacting Suttle nuances.. Its almost like as if the performer was tapping her exerpei3nxes as a squirrel in her previous birth
She's her own entity, right from the get go. That's what scares people. How confident she is in her own skin. The animalistic part can scare some but for me, that's the true horror, is how comfortable she is in her own skin, you'd know that she knows if she ever felt the need to glance your way..
I'd pay good money to be front row to this level of insanity live. I'd rather watch this than any movie. Or make small talk with any "normal" person. What should classify as normal people are totally bent out of shape these days.
I do return to this video again and again. This is such beautiful mastery. - And it's great to see Lucy's performances in this music video, too: ua-cam.com/video/MpsGI98vIH8/v-deo.html - And here: ua-cam.com/video/RXTixrXMFSE/v-deo.html . Respect!
Schade eigentlich.
this is incredible.. her movements are filled with so much detail.. gifted performer
I think she would make a very good cat
Dear Lord, that was impressive. Her attention to detail on the squirrel's movements was perfect.
Echt cool!

Time well spent, by both the performer and the audience. We all mutually benefited from this work! Kudos friend!!
I hope to god this isn't sarcastic

This is so impressive. I'm watching this to study squirrel quadrobics(the sport of walking on all fours) and this is really helpful!
I didn't read before it was a squirrel but i totally noticed it by your interpretation. great job!!!! :)
so good, conviction and full energy.
Came across this as I was looking for theatre work of artists as a dog. This is so great, wonderful.
when i say this was BOMB.. i mean BOMB. this was amazing. sooooooo detailed and specific movement.
sehr beeindruckend!
loved it! great job creating a believable character!
She inspired me alot ! I love her so much.

You are awesome 💯
BRAVO MAGNIFICO INCREIBLE
amazing..
very impressive
I'm very impressed
What was the story of this piece? And how come you chose a red squirrel instead of a grey squirrel? Xx
emma jackman In Germany we don‘t have grey squirrels, only red ones :)
Also, she's a redhead herself.😉
What is the story exactly? What does she eat, shy does she back out at first, what scares her enough to make her go back to the tree?
Cool!
Bravo! Very nice)
great job

I want to to learn this movement...
Menschen sind echt komisch
So good
Love from 🇮🇳India

Request: Elsa as Lucy Flourney?
Very specific

Jemand hätte das Andy Serkis zeigen sollen....
Squirrels should watch this in pre-school to learn how to behave
Wow 🫶🏻👏🏻
Wow super acting
U r amazing
how bout dog movement and acting
Psychiatry is waiting
Who is here in 2024? Go frogs!
I'll save everybody some time: No Lucy here ... just 4 Minutes of a Squirrel wandering around aimlessly on stage. Disappointed.
Mark Thiel ugh ew I need this for drama work lol
It doesnt look aimless to me, though, its very focused :D
schonmal was von motion capture gehört?

Interesting but squirrels dont have any facial expressions. B-
Kev Feng Every animal with a face has facail expressions. If you have a face you cant not communicate with it.
nice body tho
dude...
