      One of my next two clips will be about the differences in skin tone (can you tattoo black skin, brown skin, olive skin, etc) but unfortunately, an episode on tattooing different areas of the body bleeds more into "how to tattoo" and that's not something the Knowledgebase will cover. The purpose of this channel is more about general "need to know" stuff, I won't be covering any information about needles, machines, inks, techniques, etc. I've seen far too many "virtual apprenticeships" go so drastically wrong.... ;)

      @@TheAngryCanadianKaren that's not a terrible place to start learning asceptic processes, you just want to keep in mind that dentists, like doctors, aren't inspected by health authorities. Their doctorates are considered higher than health board certification. As a result, you have a bit of a "who watches the watchman?" kinda scenario, and I've yet to see a single hospital, clinic, or dentist's office that keeps their BBP control standards anywhere near what I consider standard for tattoo. The money shot is in learning from triage/er nurses-- they're on the front lines of wound care, and by default have to continually be up with all the latest developments in asceptic methodology.

    can you make an informative video on the different styles of tattoos/art styles implemented?

    • @PennyBlackTattoo
      @PennyBlackTattoo  5 років тому +2

      Do you mean, go over the "standard" styles and what defines them? (Traditional americana, Polynesian, Japanese traditional, etc?) If so, thats an idea. I'll add it to my list of topics to cover for sure.

      @@smittybuilt4791 I think that would qualify, yes. I just finished filming two new episodes yesterday, but I think I'll bump your request to the top of the list for my next filming session. It's a subject that does come up a lot with people new to getting tattoos. I guess showing different examples might make for a more visually interesting episode too, hmmm? Beyond just my boring mug... 😎
