hard reset you dont need the screen, it's done only with the buttons so if your screen is not responding you still can do it.

Hold the volume down key + power up key and wait for approx 30 seconds. The system will boot up and it may take some time to configure. After that it should power up normally. Hope this helps!

The second reset options seems a bit stupid. First, why not use the 'factory reset option on the phone??? Second, if it's so easy to do from the off position, anyone can just rob your phone and make it their own??
