- 5 days after my mother passed away, I decide to take my camera and head into her former room.... Or do I?
If you see anything out of the ordinary, please let me know. Any changes in overall brightness is applied through editing to try and make it easier to see in the dark, because unfortunately, my camera couldn't quite film that dark.
You did not fear your mother in life, why would you fear her in death. If your afraid of something, that's not your Mother.
Well, there are a lot of subconscious things that are hard to explain. No matter who the spirit is, my mother or a stranger, seeing a spirit would still be a spooky experience for a soft-nerved person like me.
And of course, a demon could take the form of my mother, and usually when that happens, apparently it's really freaking terrifying.
And of course, the bottom line is, I've been watching Nuke's Top 5 too much, lol.

Exactly, and when it comes to there being anything alive and threatening in there, the likelihood is pretty much zero.
I've heard scary stories of malicious people and apparitions alike, I know it's silly but they both equally scare me. Must be because I never seen either in real life despite how obvious it is with which is more threatening.
I think it's because I'm not afraid of being harmed. If there's some hoodlum hangin' around, sure he's physical, if he attacks I'll kick his butt and call the cops. But if I saw a ghost, then there's a big mystery unfolding before my eyes and nothing I could do about it. @@GeraldYniguez

I feel like in today's generation, a lot of young people who are around my age (I'm 19) don't love their mother because they "take away their phones". I feel bad for these folks, as they are missing out on something much more important than any device.
And the mothers who drink and do drugs neglecting their children, it's hard to even talk about. People miss a lot of opportunities to enjoy love and affection.
I took my mother for granted too. I have a lot of regrets. I hope she's happy and in heaven. Thank you for your kind words.

Teemu is the plumper one, the brighter colored one. He's the first cat I carried into the hallway and left down the stairs, so I got Cub instead, then later Teemu went back up the stairs. Also, I'm impressed that you got the spelling right!@@PixelswirlKitsune

Oh wow, I'm surprised I got that right. But, then again, I doubted his name would be spelled as "Temu" or "Temoo" so...
At the beginning of the video, the light in the hallway was flickering. But that could be an electrical issue. My kitchen light does that sometimes, and my apartment is not haunted.

I actually did reveal my face in part of the video, but I cut that out so it can't be seen. You're right, I should have turned on the light, but I didn't want to disrupt my mother assuming her spirit is trying to rest. That's also why I knocked the door. I knew "nobody" was in there, but I want to respect her spirit. I do kinda feel bad for entering the room in the first place because that alone would disrupt her.
Did you spot anything strange in the darkness you could find? Or in the pictures shown at the end? Them being upside down was strange, I didn't put them like that intentionally.

The Saint Boniface Cathedral is where Manitoba's founder, Louis Riel, is buried. And yes, he founded a province! Quite a remarkable deed. At that cathedral, people have reported feelings of being watched, strange noises, and the very occasional apparition.
Another haunted place near where I live is Hotel Fort Garry, room 202. A wife and husband stayed there and the wife was sick, so her husband left to get medication.
He never made it back due to a car crash that cost him his life. His wife sat on the foot end of the bed waiting for him for hours. After hearing the news, the wife hung herself in the closet.
In that room, there are numerous reports of apparition sightings of that very lady sitting at the end of the bed, as she never could get past the moments she awaited her husband, a loving hope that was shattered by misfortune, so it's no surprise that poor lady can never leave that very bed.
The apparition sightings are usually around the hours of 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM. People who didn't see the apparition felt a presence in the room, almost as if a person was there in plain sight.
One night, I want to see it for myself... Or maybe I don't want to. Maybe I should grow up a little more first!

I wanted to film in the dark to get a spooky mood and I was unaware that my camera wasn't able to record very good in the dark.
