    I couldn't dream of a better introductory video for the ionosphere. Thank you!

    This was awesome. Most comprehensive introduction to the ionosphere I've seen

    Thanks for the effort. Gained some basic idea about ionosphere and GNSS. Thanks a lot.

    The Ionosphere layer is not an unanalytic form but it is formed from the Neutrinos
    float from planets.

    Okay, so if the ionosphere works so well as far as the transmission of signals, what are satellites needed for? What do satellites do for us that the ionosphere in itself does not?

    • @cecosim
      @cecosim  8 років тому +1

      Satellites are far more reliable and predictable. Additionally centimeter level positioning is almost impossible without GNSS

    • @cecosim
      @cecosim  8 років тому

      +TomFoti As for the communication satellites - they are way more reliable than reflected signals by the ionosphere. You see, the Ionosphere has a unpredictable behaviour. For short communication the Ionosphere can be used, but it cannot replace the satellites

      Satellites don't exist.

      Ionosphere = firmament

    For any one frequency, there is a degree of ionization that is required to refract the wave sufficiently to return it to earth depending upon the angle of radiation. Frequencies higher than this, for the same angle, will not be sufficiently refracted and will not return to the earth. 👆
    The Doppler effect (or the Doppler shift) is the change in frequency of a wave in relation to an observer who is moving relative to the wave source. It is named after the Austrian physicist Christian Doppler, who described the phenomenon in 1842.

    😙 Love N. Tesla though.

    Very good job, but the earth is flat, the ionosphere is the firmament, probably made out of frozen nitrogen and maybe some other elements in it. Satellites are flying on weather balloons. They probably can't go higher than 40 and some km. If you could explain this whole thing how it works in reality would be awesome.

    can you pls explain why is the sun hook up the clouds? at 2:40

    • @cecosim
      @cecosim  7 років тому

      This is not physically accurate - of course the sun is far away from the clouds. It is just an artistic approach

    • @CharlesFockaert
      @CharlesFockaert 7 років тому

      Actually not. The sun is probably no more than approximately 100 miles above the Earth.
      Edit: Ditto the moon.
