Not gonna lie, Royal Oud smells amazing and unique. However, I spent $400 plus on it and have yet to wear it once in the year I have had it. It smells so good that no occasion seems worthy of me putting it on. I don't know when to rock it. Bow tie is right though it is a 10/10
I never agree with that train of thought. No offense. I don't own that and I really wanted it for a long time. If I had a bottle it would be gone in four months. Just from me sniffing it. What a great smell. No fragrance I ever to pass thru my nostrils has even come close to Royal Oud. It just is amazing piece of work.
@@chadczternastek that’s why you got to buy everyday fragrances as well and have multiple options of great fragrances you can get a good collection of top fragrances for 2,3,4 hundred and then easily find authentic Versace, Gucci etc for like 40,50,60$ at tj maxx for everyday wear that also smell really great having a wide variety is always best especially for the seasons
I know how it is getting into the “frag-head” lifestyle trying to keep up not knowing really how to shop and catch deals I have a lot of different fragrances that to the regular person would seem very expensive to but in reality I just know how to find the good stuff for low prices of course I spend my couple hundred here and there if I really want something but when you go in tj maxx you can get regular designer for cheap it’s blind purchases only to those who can’t read labels and don’t understand notes
I agree with you, Grand Soir is a masterpiece. It's my favourite MFK and my favourite amber. Another masterpiece for me is Angels' Share - my favourite boozy fragrance.
Some have to realize the most important fact everyone has different body chemistry just because it’s smells good on one person it might not smell good on the other 🤷🏽♂️
I hate Royal Oud to, i just don't like it. To me it smells just so of putting. It smells like an old man to me. To each their own i guess🤷♂️. Glad i bought a only a sample😉
I love Xerjoff Naxos and MFK’s Grand Soir. I wore Grand Soir yesterday as my SOTD, man, people were enjoying the fragrance. Naxos and Grand Soir are in my top 5 right now.
Naxos the one spray knock out scent! I was also liking your shirt - No Homo! And hypnotizing fire! I’m still waiting to buy it. Can’t decide if my dollars going to stretch that far… but it’s coming
Agreed, if you’re untrained you’d smell it initially and say fuck no. I sprayed it at Saks and thought that, but when it dried down I fell in love. Was fortunate enough to find a 4oz of it and from experience you could just about wear it all year.
Great video and I enjoyed it and some of my favorite 10 out of 10 fragrances are Creed Aventus/MFK oud satin mood/Ralph lauren polo safari/clive christian x masculine/ysl kouros/Bentley for men intense/Dior Sauvage Elixir etc and have a blessed night
Great picks here. Royal Oud is just in a class of its own. One of the few fragrances to make my eyes roll back on first spray. So good that I had to hunt it down and purchase full price. Grand Soir is also just so comforting and great for fall!
I'll agree with you on the Creed Royal Oud. 10/10 masterpiece. And so does Sebastian from The Perfume Guy and ClemenceCC. They both rated Royal Oud in their masterpiece list. ClemenceCC literally cried on camera when she did her first impression smell on Royal Oud. Go watch her UA-cam video a while back surveying Creed scents. I consider it my "King's coronation scent" because it is imo the most appropriate fragrance for a king to wear at his coronation. King Charles, are you listening? But I think several Creeds are 10/10 masterpieces. Bois du Portugal, EROLFA, Green Irish Tweed (whether or not its scent profile is "played out" to someone is irrelevant.), and a good case could be made for Aventus, the most successful and influential niche scent of all time.
I looked up Diaghilev while watching this and I completely understand now I will definitely start putting some money to the side and go for Christmas this year
I have naxos and I absolutely love it and has also been my most complimented. I did try journeyman and although I didn't hate it I thought it's a Meh. I also tried african and russian leather by memo and going to get some russian leather
Dope content as always mr bow tie and fire Gucci polo 😂🔥🔥🔥. Recently picked up Naxos and Angels share, been on the hunt for creed’s royal oud but no luck yet.

I had Royal Oud a few years ago and absolutely hated it. It definitely got compliments but I just couldnt stomach it. Clearly I'm alone on that. But I just dont get the hype
I love the Cinammon note too. Problem for me is that I don't like powdery notes nor too much vanilla but these notes apparently go together with Cinammon alot (e.g., Blessed Baraka). Ever searching for a higher quality niche version of something along the lines of Burberry London.
Great video as always. love Diaghilev. But i picked up De La Nuit #3 last winter and that is perfection to me. MFK Amyris Homme EDP is another overlooked 10/10. And you turned me on to another 10/10 recently in Dia Man, it is my favorite right now and can't get enough of it.
I have not much of a problem wearing my fragrances, as I just own 17 fragrances, which are 3 aftershaves (original Denim, Freshweood aftershave balm by Boots and original Givenchy Gentleman aftershave lotion) and have Aramis, Quorum (I have a balm and lotion aftershave/cologne set), Yatagan, Polo (original green bottle), Bogart (signature), One Man Show, Pierre Cardin (a set of aftershave balm and cologne spray), Extreme Patchouli Edp (Louis Varel), Oudh Afgano Edp (Khalis), Khulasat Al Oud Edp (Al Haramain), Arabi Cana Edp (Kolmaz), Oudh Patchouli Edp (Al Haramain), Agua Brava Edc and Brummel Edc (last two colognes come in a massive 500ml splash bottles) from the house of "Antonio Puig" (Quorum). and one very special to me (I started wearing this scent in the middle of the 70s when I was 10 years old and my uncle gave me a small glass bottle of 10ml patchouli essential oil "Spiritual Sky" brand), so still I wear Patchouli organic essential oil as a body perfume that is a great scent, enigmatic, enchanting so sublime and very captivating fragrance that often people like it but cannot place the smell of this oil with any other normal cologne or aftershave that are sold in the perfume shops nowadays. by the way, I think I own too many fragrances, and really I do not think I'm going to buy more, with the exception of Aramis and Quorum which are not expensive and I love them as my most beloved scents for every day, season or time of the day ........ but I think I want at least finish with half of what I have then I may buy other two or three more fragrances.
Hi Darian - I haven't seen all the video yet as I wanted to say that Creeds Royal Oud is really nice. But to me Acqua Di Parmas Oud has better performance insofar as projection and lasting. I did a quick test of both of them on my forearm in the morning and by the evening - only Acqua Oud was still there.
Royal Oud has been diluted the last few years. The 75/125ml version from pre-2015 was incredible. The 100ml version that's come out since has no power. Shame because it was my favourite.
Love Tobacco Oud man has this intriguing smoky, dark, boozy, cognac and bourbon notes that get deeper as it dries down. Love this in my collection, Cologne game is real
Honestly here we go again. I just watched 4 different content videos and yours is number 4. Seriously I don't know what you do for a living but it's apparent that you make some good income. I just purchased 8 fragrances for the month of September and I personally bought a few that you have in this video a few years back. That Royal Oud is truly beautiful. Hated it upon initial spray, but it dried down and grew on me. Damn near wearable all year round Bowtie.
