Fellow Spotlight: Cristina Rivera Garza

Cristina Rivera Garza is the M.D. Anderson Distinguished Professor and director of the Ph.D. program in creative writing in Spanish at the University of Houston. The author or translator of over a dozen works, Rivera Garza's most recent book is the critically acclaimed "Liliane’s Invincible Summer: A Sister’s Search for Justice" (Hogarth, March 2023), which plumbs the depths of her late sister’s writings.
