Wow, that was incredibly weird. That one apprentice at 4:22 said his line, like they always do. I always heard it as "I'm meant to learn", and that's what I heard from the other three, but then suddenly this guy is clearly saying "I'm ready to learn". I actually looked it up to see if he says something else if the board is full. Nope. That's what they always say. I… what? Why was this one guy more understandable than the dozens before him?
He still says the same thing, it's just that you think that he says it more clearly and you hear it like that. I think that I hear it clear on the other ones and I do.
Just crafted Yogg today, can't wait to play this deck. Just have to find the dust for two shapings (because apparently I can't open any in the 100-something packs I've opened)
+Mark Marcus I had two times the same situation. I crafted Gromm, did an Arena afterwards -> Pack Gromm. And a few days ago I crafted Twin Emperor and openend him two packs later.. FeelsBadMan
crowblade I have. I love druid, I was playing all sorts of weird ramp styles without any combo whatsoever in the days when the combo was annihilating ladder and tournaments, and I was hoping this whole charade would stop and the players would see that there is life outside the combo. Thankfully, that happened.
opENDfist And here I was, thinking that missreferencing an obvious popculture with another popculture was one of the oldest jokes on the net, but I seem to have been proven wrong. #nothashtagworthy
Huh...just rewatched a vid, guess he does say Yah-shuh-razh. Weird, when I played through it back when it came out he said yuh-sharzh, then again, that was REALLY early, possibly beta, and they could've changed it afterwards.
I wish yogg couldn't target himself with harmful spells, that would make him a little more reliable and bring him in line balance wise with the other old gods
To be honest, on that turn 5 I think I'd rather have a 3/5 Auchenai vs a 2/1 on board as opposed to having an entirely empty board. Regarding Forbidden Shaping. I don't think I've ever seen a video where you (or anyone else for that matter) cast it before turn 8. Everybody is so amazed by its supposed flexibility, but at this point, wouldn't you rather just play a decent 8-drop? Lastly, Shifting Shade seems so bad, you traded it against a 2-drop for free, on a turn you could've cast Shaping instead (which more than likely wouldn't just die to the 3/2).
+silvsilvsilv Well, forbidden shaping is more useful than a decent 8 drop because it can be a decent 8 drop, or it can fill in a gap if you drew that 8 drop on turn 2 and need a 2 drop. I'm not sure about all the different minions on 3 mana but I believe there are too many with 3 or less health to risk it.
+silvsilvsilv Yeah but that auchenai is 4 mana.. So yo ucan't heropower. About forbidden shaping, if you don't need it earlier, than why play it earlier? The old ancient of lore almost always drew, but the option to heal in dire situations is nice. Shifting Shade is amazing since it's a 4 mana 4/3 with draw a card as deathrattle that doesn't draw from your deck. Also Nzoth. Nuff' said.
The Creator I know it _can_ be all those things, my point is, it never is. I don't think I've ever seen Kibler cast it for anything other than 8 mana. In the example I named, Shaping would give a 4-drop (2 for SW:P, 4 for Shaping). Those almost always have 4+ health.
Neil Farwoods That's why I said I'd rather have a 3/5 facing a 2/1 instead of having an entirely empty board like he had. About FS, that again is exactly my point: if you never need it earlier, why not just play an 8-drop that's always good? Shifting Shade is bad especially because it's a 4/3 for 4. It loses to a lot of 2 drops, most any 3 drop, and gets traded for free against almost any 4-drop. The random card from your opponent's deck and N'Zoth synergy don't nearly make up for that.
silvsilvsilv What you also have to take into a count is that the opponent has an empty board too, which is very good for this deck. Since it's responsive
i played 3 games in a row against different decks and classes and all of them had doomsayer, anyone knows why people are putting him everywhere now? i would understant if it was before cause of agroo, but why now? (they always put him in early game)
Aefweard but why just now? Agroo was a much bigger thing before, and tbh i dont think doomsayer would be a problem to control, since they play their important minions late game and probably already have an answer.
+Jamil Inumanox iron beak owl was increased to 3mana so no one plays it anymore so the easiest way to deal with it is to either kill it (so it takes 7damage that could go face) or a main removal like hex which uses up the early turn and protects later more important minions.
+scsonicshadow - He where having allergy issues in the usual office so the streaming is moved to the living room until they can sort out the situation. :)
steven w I thought the same before Blizzard announced the nerfs. Just 4\10 does very little. Usually you finished your opponent with the combo, almost 90% of times.
+Jeljo yup, I yelled MISPLAY! lol though technically the difference would just be that the druid would hero power it next turn instead of face... so counting auchnai hero power, the last turn hed be 1 off lethal instead of 2 and he would have 24hp instead of 23 :P
+Its Change, Right? Because that's the official pronunciation. The Old Gods only care about chaos, and that spelling is about as chaotic as it gets. (On a serious note, I don't know what Blizzard were thinking with that, but that IS how it's pronounced. Maybe the original voice actor for the NPC who says it got it mixed up, and Blizz just decided to roll with it.)
I disagree with 1:50. auchenai would have left you with a 3/5 on board vs his 2/1 while using the same amount of cards, whereas here both boards are empty as played, which is a weaker board state for you
Shadow madness gets teacher, then plays a spell, guy says "I'm ready to learn" then the guy learns that the spell that summoned him was about to kill him "I'm ready to, wait... HOLY S*IT!"
That legendary coin into concede
You were the chosen one, Slimey. You were supposed to bring life to the face, not destroy it!
Wait, why did the Druid coin? It costs 0 mana to concede. What a waste of a coin.
+Grimbanks He realized his mistake and conceded...
+wwwggxcom 1% of players have 99% of all golden legendaries!!!! We need to stop this
inequality!!!!
Kibler quoting LOTR makes me love him even more
abandoned the chosen slime :(

I think the thumbnail must have been interesting for Natalie to edit, haha. Great job on this one as well Kibler!
These thumbnail titles are win lol
The classic coin concede. Nice.
This slime was just too good for you, Kibler.
Perfect deck Brian, thanks very much for sharing and playing with it.

+Warclam I heard it too. Weird...
+Warclam Wait what, how did you even hear "meant"? :D I've always heard "I'm ready to learn"
It's weird, it sounds like they are saying "meant" and then it switches to "ready"
Just crafted Yogg today, can't wait to play this deck. Just have to find the dust for two shapings (because apparently I can't open any in the 100-something packs I've opened)
I know that feeling. I'm pretty sure there are still some cards from classic that I don't have.
Haha I have the complete opposite I have 2 forbidden shaping and yet no yogg :(
+Nicholas Curcuru its a good problem to have, alot of useful epics this xpac compared to tgt
+Mark Marcus
I had two times the same situation.
I crafted Gromm, did an Arena afterwards -> Pack Gromm.
And a few days ago I crafted Twin Emperor and openend him two packs later..
FeelsBadMan
+Mark Marcus I did that with N'zoth. Crafted him day 2 and opened him a week ago
I'm going to go on a limb and say Yogg-Saron has saved Hearthstone. He makes the game so much fun to play and watch now.
I knew there would come a time when all these filthy combo druids would pay for their crimes, but not like this... not like this. :-D
it was the best balance i have ever seen :D
+bloodySunday77 I guess you haven't played against any C'Thun druids recently? They still are to be punished for their crimes.
crowblade I have. though that wasn't actually a combo druid since the deck no longer exists
"Slimy Dream" i see what you did there Kib

Man, you're so awesome! I'm new to this channel, so may I ask a question... how old are you ?
Brian is the best Hearthstone UA-camr ever .. !!! :)
coin concede the dream PogChamp
one slime to rule them all
Coin concede... New combo.
On the excavated turn he could've excavated and then shadow madnessed to get an apprentice.
Hey Kibler, it's pronounced "Yuh-sharzh" btw, love your hearthstone vids.
+KaraoYoshi If you're talking about Y'Shaarj, the way he pronounces it is definitely correct.
In game cinematic in Mists of Pandaria, Klaxxi rep at Exalted. They pronounce his name in game.
KaraoYoshi
I know, I'm exalted as well. And, at least in German, Kil'ruk says the name like 'Yah-sha-raj'.
Huh...just rewatched a vid, guess he does say Yah-shuh-razh. Weird, when I played through it back when it came out he said yuh-sharzh, then again, that was REALLY early, possibly beta, and they could've changed it afterwards.
So glad I 1.5x this
is it better for a new player to buy packs or save for expamsions
You abandoned it BibleThump
YAY! SLIME!
do you think it would be possible to give the slime a position in the dragon army?
I would love to see/hear a prokofiev/scriabin/bartók piece as background music.
+Gergő Ollé I agree but you gotta admit it could be a loooooot worse than Mozart. ;)
+Michael Goetze Mozart is overestimated
COIN CONCEDE PogChamp
There was a small missplay on turn 9 should excavated evil first and then shadow madness to get 1\1 token )
I wish yogg couldn't target himself with harmful spells, that would make him a little more reliable and bring him in line balance wise with the other old gods
Id give Brian Kibler something slimy
if you excavated the teachers first, then used shadow madness, wouldn't you have had 1 1/1 minion on the board after clearing ?
you should consider getting a better mic for downstairs
coin concede OpieOP
is this his final n'zoth priest list??
Where is Kibler? that's not his normal office, i am scared.
4:40 With aoe first wouldnt u have had the value of madness, spawning a minion?
WOHOOOO wOOOOOOH
Yogg really needs help to stop the self-harm.
1000th like here. G.G. / W.P.

Why has kibler sounded so weird these past few videos just from moving to a different room?
+Xavier Lasporte-Taylor Can you not see his different mic?
i played 3 games in a row against different decks and classes and all of them had doomsayer, anyone knows why people are putting him everywhere now? i would understant if it was before cause of agroo, but why now? (they always put him in early game)
everywhere = 3 games lol
+Jamil Inumanox
helps against the prevalence of shaman and zoo and with all the control decks can make your opponents turn very awkward.
Aefweard but why just now? Agroo was a much bigger thing before, and tbh i dont think doomsayer would be a problem to control, since they play their important minions late game and probably already have an answer.

Nick White hmm, maybe you are right, but iron beak owl wasnt a card like bgh, that everyone played.
Do you know Yogg is the god of death?
4:55
Should excavated first, missed a 1 1
Concede for 11 mana :^)
wow this is early
Not a fan of the new setup is he moving or something?

Isn't Druid unplayable now?
Not, if you wanna win at enemy's 16hp.
Not really

why is everyone calling y'shaarj yashararj?
Tenth
Why do people keep saying Y'Shraaj. It's Y'Shaarj. R is in a different place.
