In my mind only exists the Underworld Queens from this moment on. I don't make the rules. But also I love how it feels as though all of my anime and gaming knowledge has led me to enjoying the absolute delight that is this event so far 🤣 Are there any winter units you hope come home this holiday season??
Going into this as (more or less unintentionally) a Guillotine main, I at least had the advantage of realizing that she's entirely sane, responsible and mature: somebody who will consciously exploit her talent for chunni to keep people from asking questions or believing the answers. Doesn't mean I saw most of it coming, at least until the reminder of a previous event came up.
Not going to spoiler Part 2 obviously, but I thought I'd want to tune in. Because this Christmas event, right from its first part, has resonated with me so hard unironically. I have a friend who went to live and work abroad as of now. She was introduced to our group relatively late, because our common friend wanted to make two people he trusted the most (me and her) acquainted with each other. At one point during our conversations, during which I have noticed her relative "calmness", it was finally brought up that she has been undergoing therapy for a serious disease. I noted it, but did not overfocus too much... Then one day, she abruptly cut the comms. I was dumbfounded, maybe it was something rude I said (I was a jerk from time to time, just my stupid manner of constant banter) - but then I contacted another person in the know to find out wth happened... She got a relapse. And was dead set on not having much chance to hold out for much longer. Her father has died prior (he was a volunteer medic in a combat zone from what I've heard, it was rough), and her low morale hiding behind this calm exterior got much worse. So she chose the best option - to severe ties with us so we won't mourn her, so that her "predestined" death does not make people she liked sad. In the end, she has survived her operation, is healthier than before and keeps on pulling through, she even got married. But that period of my life is something I'd never forget - and Maiden's story has brought the memories back. She rudely rejects Guilio's attempt to bond with her and cheer her up - because she does not want to have this bond make it hurt for Guilio after her "predestined" memory wipe, a.k.a de-facto death. Guilio is an uncontrollable and often annoying chuuni to her - but she loves her, and she doesn't want her to cry much when "Maiden" will be gone. I never thought what I considered to be a wacky isekai spoof event to hit hard; I knew that Christmas event WOULD hit tough, I just wasn't ready for it to cut that deep for me PERSONALLY. I applaud Jung Jae-Sung and his brilliant bald head for making stories that almost degrade me into a slobbering mess; he does everything right if such emotional output is universal from the players.

At first, I wasn't sure what to expect of this event, but when I read the first line, I immediately got it.
Immediately.
Tfw Vesti casted an enhance spell on her RPG before switching to it.

I'm so sorry that this brought back some untoward memories. May you and your "Maiden" would one day reunite again with smiles.

1:34:00 To be honest, I have been playing the game for 2 years... and this video is the FIRST TIME I even heard about Free Bond Stories :V
Apparently it’s a fairly new feature! 😮
Oof, man. You missed out some free tickets then. But it ain't much no worries
Neverland Lobby? And no Vod? Looking forward to when it arrives.
There’s a looooot of videos incoming over the next week 🤣
my current mlb are liter, soda, and smol white 2 more to go
I like the wrong way to use healing magic... the summoned people aren't OP, they had to actually train to become OP...
I also liked that show, it's a tiny bit generic but it's different enough that's its actually fun to watch
