Up to now you're video is definitely the coolest of all the Toyplosion II Videos I have been watching, because you focused so much on the toys which caught your and Matti's eye. That's what I love to see! As many of the toys the dealers offered over there as possible. Also love your video style and your funny interaction with Matti. Always so cool to watch one of your videos, you know so many toy UA-camrs that I like a lot. So thank all of you very very much for these wonderful Toyplosion II impressions and showing us all your fantastic finds and the gifts you received 🤗🤘🥳.
My girlfriend showed me that Hasselhoff mirror and I was so tempted to buy it. This is the level of rediculousness I love. The kind of conversation starter everyone should have in their home. Damn, do I want it now!!!
It was a great Toyplosion and I also had some Deals with Marco (retrokrempel). Im very lucky about the Charon and two Dune figures from LJN. Great Video man
For serious collectors like you guys I understand you don't like re-releases. But I'm not a collector I've been watching your channel for 3 years now but all these re-releases and your channel makes it more interesting to pick up some models. I'm not going to pay 300 euro for a toy in a box but 25 euro to display it on a shelf thats way more reasonable.
Toyplosion, here I come!!! No Doubt, Toyplosion was one of the Coolest and Ginormous Place Ever from Germany. They had a whole Plethora of Vintage Toys and many many more! Truly Epic and Mind-boggling! It's Every Collectors Dreams, on your Channel! Excellent Video as always, Ed! 😎😎😎👍👍
Ed’s Retro Geek Out aka The Shifty Belgian Way. 😂😂😂 Toyplosian looks amazing. So many toys and cool toy ppl. Huge fan of the Leicester Vintage Toy Shop guys. Highly recommend their channel to anyone. Thanks again Ed and Matty.
WOW!! Congratulations on the Purple Armor Super Shredder!!! He's a top Goal for me to find at Great Ohio Toy Show coming up! That Exosquad bag was sick too!! Never knew those were a thing. Couldn't believe my eyes at the beginning with those TMNT Undercover Plush!! WOW!! Great video!!
Great coverage Ed & thanks for the shout outs. Trailer for series 3 of Toy Shop On Tour about to drop. Filmed 2 terabytes of material, sheesh lots to do!
@@EdsRetroGeekOutI like your format with the seated pieces to camera and the figures well lit on the turn table. I’ve been shooting and editing for 26 years, it’s just practice. It’s good that you film and edit your own material. I’ve found that’s the way to improve quickest. It’s harder editing footage you haven’t shot yourself. When you up grade your camera I’d suggest one with image stabilisation & a lens with stabilisation which will help smooth out the micro shake…. but hey the viewing figures speak for themselves, we can save that for “Matt’s Camera Geek Out On Tour” ™️😅
Oh man, thanks for the nice documentary... Was a pleasure to meet you and have you on my own show aswell 😊 See you at Marché Noir in February 2025? That will be awesome aswell 😉
😮 No really bro….😮. Absolutely crazy knock off haul and then your score at the end was insane man. The mix and match of those Turly Gang is hilarious. 😂 Thanks Guys. Can’t wait for European Attic Invasion.
I'm soooo happy YOU got the awesome small My Pet Monster 🤘😈 He first wanted to sell it to me but I knew there would be someone even more happy with it than me 😉 It also has a cameo in my video 😂 And wow~ you saw so much more stuff that I did not even notice🤯 Great video 💯
Hi Ed it was realy nice to meet you at Toyplosion . You asked about other Stores in Germany for the Attic Invaders Europe Tour. You could visit the Kuschel Muschel in Hanau near Frankfurt but ist only open on Friday and Saturday .
Awesome convention...loads of good stuff. Seems like every convention you go to over there has a Filmation Ghostbusters Ghost Command. Never see those here!
Never fails ED ...the EURO vintage stuff kills it ...BETTER THAN ANY USA OR CANADIAN Toy Shows... I watch many videos by you tubers and the EURO shows are always the best .. the biggest draw back ...PRICES ARE VERY HIGH ...
They do reduce the value of originals but they are affordable options for building displays, and they can be opened without guilt! personally i have a good mix of original and reissue TMNT, just got an original Mona Lisa 😊.
Well, you know I did the vintage thing for awhile. Paid, 400-500 or whatever for a figure, playset, etc. Then I realized I could get a reissue, same figure, packaging and in most cases only difference was the date on the packaging. Instead of buying 1 original for ALOT of money, I could buy 2 or more of the same thing, open 1 for display and keep the other in the packaging. Then you can buy alot more of other things instead of walking out of a toy show with something that potentially was half a paycheck. Then at the very bottom, whatever you get be it new or vintage, it will hang or stack in a different room, gather dust and you may not see any of it for a week possibly. Was just a harsh reality. I still like to watch these videos to show things from my childhood.
I have no problem with the repros as someone who isn't necessarily a vintage collector, but I can definitely see where guys like you and Matti would have a problem with them.
Great to see you again on Toyplosion this time by the way, it was me under the Green Power Ranger Cosplay 😅 Nice to see, you put your Cameraeye on my Stand, Thanks bro. Next time i will have a Ninja Turtle Balloon for You 😉 Best greetz Footsoldier
Dammit, I gotta make the trip next year. I can't believe I stayed in my home town and went to our crappy little local Comic Con instead. The only retro action figures there were played with, without any accessories (the one Kenner TAS Batman didn't even have a cape) and still horribly overpriced. I'm not paying 30 Euros for a Gargoyles Broadway figure without wings or tail. 38:04 I got that same bootleg Godzilla at a flea market some years ago, it actually was the first toy I got when I decided to start collecting again. It's also the blue one, and I can't help thinking it looks like the Cookie Monster.
The reissues are a problem I believe in the collector world. I myself don't want anything to do with them.. but if people like them , then more power to them. I just feel like these companies should be coming up with new molds of vintage style/inspired toys instead of just doing a money grab.
I'm from chorlton in Manchester, which is where count duckula, and other animations like dangermouse were made by Cosgrove hall. I'd really love some duckula figures but they be Pricey 😅
@@EdsRetroGeekOut oh goodness. Yes they can go for more loose! It obv depends on condition. Duckula is more common than nanny and Igor. I'd have been very tempted to buy all of them for that price 😁 are you going to Birmingham NEC in September, would be good to say hello!
The cool part about the old school wrestlers is you don’t always have to hunt accessories! They usually didn’t come with any and weren’t wearing clothing
Reissues could be a problem i just bought a foot soldier complete and the figure says 1988 but weapons are a bit darker than the other one i had back home so i wonder if one of the two might have reissue-weapons!? Dunno… 😅
Repros are cool they just shouldn't cost more than originals I found a repro ray filet for 60 when I can buy a vintage one for like 7 bucks😮 And tell mattie to look at the print on the back or the feet it'll tell u what year it was made so u can tell the difference 😂😂
I missed out on going this year due to a knee surgery. Looking forward to making my way there next year hopefully. Did you spot any Dragon Ball Z stuff there? It seems to be so hard to find in Germany. Great video and keep up the good work 👌🏻👌🏻
Yeah eventually bought it from scott from cranck’s toys ;) i had been eyeing them for a while so got the best looking one when the show was almost done. We only filmed the first 2-3 hours of the show honestly. There’s more finds then I show in the video 🤓
