Yeah the bonded particle model is a default one.. and particle replacement is another module which you have to give as an API module which will replaces existing particles with a clump of meta particles for this the coordinates of meta particles which form a clump should be given as an input...if you have EDEM software you can do the Bonded particle tutorial where it is explained well...hope this helps you.

Is this simulation include the new particles as of varying size distribution or the daughter particles are of the same size.
Daughter particles are of the same size..as of now i don't know if size distribution of daughter particles can be incorported in EDEM
