I think a lever would be a better solution than the wedge - simply lift up the top of the tree, while your helper pulls the saw out "Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.." 😉 And a tip - when bucking logs under pressure from their own weight, use only the top (tip) of your bar, as You can quickly pull it out as soon it starts closing in on your cut. @@DeadWoodLogging6996 surprising to me that limb ended up being one of the supporting limbs for the whole tree so I got pinched! I like the lever idea and have used that before but here you will see in my later video why it went that way the whole tree from the back is pushing down/forward on that one branch. My partner is a videographer only, she can’t lift a tree like this but, I know she would try if I asked! Thank you Bro, I always appreciate your tips and try them out! 🫡👑
