I have a very small pantry and I just decluttered mine! What a eye opener on what I had and how much I didn't use. I was lucky and was able to donate to our local food pantry. Thanks for sharing and excited to see your next project! Have an awesome day!
Idea for recycling: put a brown paper bag (or two) into the recycle plastic bin then, once it’s full, grab the bag and take it outside to the recycling can and toss the bag along with the recyclables.
Regarding the recycling, I’ve made it a habit to empty my recycling every morning into the outside recycling bin. That has worked well. Also Target sells a bin like yours that has wheels. I have one & it’s perfect to keep things off the floor & can easily be rolled out to sweep/mop. Thanks for your tips!!!
Just recently found your channel & love your content! I have a 13 gal trash can dedicated to recycling in the garage right by the door. You only have to open the door and drop it in and then it’s easy to take to recycling center when it’s full. - Julie
Thank you! That’s a good idea. We actually have a large trash can outside our garage door as well. It’s too far from the kitchen for anyone to actually use it. Lol. I use it for boxes and bigger recyclables.
I recently decluttered my food. When I find food items that my family doesn't like to eat, but are still in good condition, I donate them to the food pantry. It's very satisfying to realize that someone in need will enjoy the food.
Recyling ideas if you have space is one of those duel trash and recycling trash cans. It may have a bit more space. I dump my own recycling. I have bigger sorting bins in my garage. On a weekly basis I empty the small bin inside into the garage bins.
That is a good idea! Unfortunately, I don’t have the space. My small garbage is under my sink and takes most of the space! But thanks so much for the suggestion!
Looks great Ali! I love your pantry. I have a decent size pantry cabinet, but I wish I had one I could walk into instead. I really need to declutter and organize mine, along with my fridge and freezer. I have been meal planning and it would be great to have everything organized. Your nails look beautiful by the way! Pantry’s don’t really exist in the UK! Food just gets stored in kitchen cupboards and draws. So my food is in different locations around the kitchen depending on what it is - cooking ingredients next to the hob, breakfast and lunch things under the counter where we make those meals, snacks in a random draw etc. I don’t have a lot of back up food. (We generally don’t have built in closets either but free standing wardrobes. So there is a definite lack of storage!). Funny how things are different!

For the recycling bin....maybe add emptying it to your weekly cleaning list
Or add to one of the kids chore list if they have chore lists
