How do you like the bike? I'm deciding between Race Edition and RR. I already have a YZ 250FX with KYBs and I really like them set up for my weight and softer valving.
I was looking at the 250FX before getting the Beta, but it came down to the fact I had never owned a modern 2T. It was a great choice, I love the Beta. I think the FX would still be a great race bike too , but for me I just wanted something that was easy to tag for streets if I took it out west on trails that have to be tagged. For me the Beta suspension is great, but I do have it set as soft as it can go because the Race ed. is a bit stiffer than RR. I have heard the new 2023 race are much more punchy and setup well for A class, which I am not. The Beta is just so much fun to ride and listen to the motor.
It's real punchy if you get on the pipe. Handles way better than the 250x in my opinion. 6 speed, clutch motor combo is perfect together. Beta is a refined machine and it tracks like no other

@@auksmitty How much do you weigh? I Just tested a 2017 250 and actually just put a deposit on a 23 250 Race. Hope its not too punchy LOL
@@Pint76 I’m around 185, and so far I’m in spec for the factory settings. I haven’t ridden the 23 but I’ve heard great things.
