One of my best friends has a golden retriever female. She is now 15.5 years old. She is just the most beautiful natured dog with such a great personality. I’d recommend that breed any day. I’ve known her since she was a puppy.😊
Best breed ever. If you are ever in the market for a large dog that is easy to train then get a Goldie. I’ve had 5 and each one of them was goofy in one respect or another. Play time for them is anytime that they are awake.
We’ve had 3 over the last 30 years. After the first I decided they were the perfect dog for me.❤

The golden retriever that was pulling its own fur off was extremely disturbing and not funny, that is a sign of them being bored and need some other activity to do that helps them feel happy (like an activity that allows them to be outside).
We have a male Highland Golden who is 10 years old, he is currently teaching our new Yorkshire Terriers how to be dogs.
Watching 3 dogs getting ready to fight is not funny.
