Beloved one - We are not 'Christian' but to be called Natsarim (the branches) for He is the VINE and we are ONE. We are ISRAEL born spiritually through the Messiah Yahusha. 'The name 'Christian' was used in a derogatory way by the Gentiles to those that followed THE WAY of Yahuah through belief in the Messiah. The word 'Christian' comes from word 'Cretin'. This word has been used to divide brother from brother - for the ten tribes of the Northern Kingdom were scattered throughout the nations (the scattering of Abrahams Seed) and ONLY Yahuah knows HIS OWN sheep - the LOST - that Yahusha came to find and Shepherd back to His fold. Keeping seeking the TRUTH through the WORD of YAH rather than what has been falsely taught. Shalom
I am a Christian, but this is become one of my favorite praise songs. I can’t stop listening to it. It really warms my heart. Thank you very much for this beautiful gift. How proud your family must be.
Why the but? Jesus quotes the shema(Mark 12:29). Echad is not used to describe one in the typical sense, it's used to describe something like a cluster of grapes. You would refer to the entire cluster as one cluster; echad.
-Genesis 2:24 "For this reason, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one(echad) flesh."

It’s because there is one god. And when you worship accordingly you are blessed accordingly. Jesus is not god. He is gods son and tells you this plainly over and over again. We are his brother and we have the same father.

I'd really like to go back to Israel before I die.I taught a class in Tel Aviv when I was in the U.S.Army and 3 guys volunteered to keep me safe when they didn't have to.The best 3 months of my life.If ever Israel needed me , I'm there. I love the land so much my youngest son's middle name is Israel (my oldest son's middle name is Judah )and I am a follower of Yeshua.

HalleluYAH! The beautiful Hebrew language is so very Blessed by Adonai!. It is a healing balm to all those who listen to it, especially when sung to the sick and the dying. Three weeks ago my Beloved Uncle was in palliative care after a short but brave battle against Covid Pneumonia which turned into sepsis of his brain 😢😢
He was completely unresponsive and my precious Cousin Liezel,
his only child who absolutely adored her kind, loving, gentle father whom had brought her up from a young age in total Faith, love and service to YAH, kept on playing Christian Praise and worship music as she sat beside her father’s hospital bed. I was praying for comfort and strength for them both as only a few hours earlier her beautiful Holy Spirit and faith-filled mum, Perpetua, my precious Aunty had suddenly collapsed and died whilst at home alone with my brave and faithful cousin. My Aunty had suddenly passed away from a severe asthma attack upon hearing the shocking news from the Hospital doctor that her husband of many years now had Sepsis of the brain and wasn’t expected to survive through the night. 😢😢😢
Over the phone I was trying my best to comfort her whilst praying to Our Most Merciful Heavenly Father YHWH and then I heard a message from within my heart that I had to tell my Pentecostal Cousin to start playing Hebrew Messianic-music where he was Praise and Worship songs to my unconscious uncle. I specifically told her to play ‘Ha Brachia’ The Blessing sung in Hebrew to her dad. Liezel soon texted me that as soon as she began to play ‘Ha Bracha’ sung in Hebrew by the multi-gifted Messianic Jewish singer,Joshua Aaron, her father suddenly opened his eyes and gently squeezed her hand! HalleluYAH🙌🏻🙌🏻
As soon as Ha Bracha ended she said he fell back into unconsciousness again, so she decided to play her dad some of his favourite Christian Songs and Hymns yet he never stirred. So then she played him ‘ Ha Bracha’ again, and once again his eyes suddenly reopened and he was fully conscious and lightly squeezed her hand and remained awake whilst she repeatedly played the Beautiful Hebrew rendition of Ha Bracha, until her dad peacefully passed away to be with Father YAH at 12 midnight. My cousin is convinced that if hadn’t played and kept on playing!Ha Bracha… The Blessing to her Holy Spirit filled father he would have remained totally unresponsive until he followed after his beloved wife to be with Adonai!
So yes… this is a true and powerful testimony to the blessed Hebrew Labguage; especially when it is sung. She was very much comforted and grateful to YAH for those precious extra hours she shared with her fully conscious dad listening to Ha Bracha until he finally passed away in YAH’s beautiful Shalom Peace. Glory be to Adonai and His only Begotten Son, Yahshua Ha Maschiac, Jesus Christ of Nazareth our sacrifice Lamb of of G-d. HalleluYAH!

I'v been a christian for 34 yrs but just recently have been learning the hebrew language im loving it so much and when I do I start weeping and feel the spirit of God around me even more I love Israel and its people I feel so much apart of a family so looking forward to meeting yeshua face to face ...love you my God for eternity
I am the same. I am also a Christian and been learning the Hebrew language and when I pray also using the Hebrew names for God and Jesus in my prayer time. I find the songs, like this one bring such peace to me and I just feel drawing me closer to the Lord.

This is a beautiful song and a beautiful tribute to the Shema with English versus that make it accessible for some for whom it would not be otherwise. It gives the Shema context and illustrates that she is saying what she means and meaning what she says. Plenty of people can pronounce words perfectly with perfect accents (though I'm not really even sure what is being nitpicked here) without truly meaning them. I believe that a Shema sung with heartfelt emotion trumps any other-perfect or not.
This really goes under my skin.
