Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala on training with Lewandowski & choosing Germany over England | MOTDx
Some of these comments are the perfect example of why it was better for him to choose Germany over England
13 year olds chatting shit in a UA-cam comments section?
@@Best4Gaming just made that comment as I had just seen someone comment: "good don't need him hes overrated mount better anyway". I don't think generalising a country to "some of these comments" is a very good statement to make.
@@sinless4088 I didn't want to generalise an entire country that's why I said some, but if I'm honest, for me it seems like english football fans are a lot more toxic compared to many other countries. Of course there are idiots that take everything way to serious everywhere.
@@sinless4088 I'm sorry I think I didn't get your comment 😅 I thought you were saying that I am 13 and talking shit on UA-cam
@@Best4Gaming no, I wasn't talking about you there 😂. I was confused on why you were getting hostile but I just went with it haha.
This lad manages to speak German with an English accent and English with a German accent 🤣
a unique talent for sure ,😂
Dude welcome to bilingualism. I.e speaking two languages poorly
@Steve Harvey somebody jealous because a german likes germany more than england lmao
Not another sancho
@@Adam-uu9tw lol I’m multilingual and I speak all of the wrong 😂😂😂
He seems like a really nice and grounded boy. Hope he gets far, he deserves all the success!
tbh i think its hard to have a massive ego when you're constantly around living legends like Lewandowski and Neur, and all the better since he can probably reach their levels if he kept his head down and worked hard
Had he not chosen Germany, he would have been sitting on the bench for mount ( on club and country level). It was an early brave decision which has transformed his life in so many levels. Respect!
Yes. Even behind Madison after that. But man that's a hard choice as a top young footballer to make... especially if you have deep ties to both nations. More importantly - you don't know who is going to be just as good or better than you at your position in the coming years. No one knows. Sure he would of made the England squad for major tourneys like the World Cup, but Germany NEEDED him and he is like the best at his position over all the other German nationals. So his decision was a great one needless to say....
But now he isn’t in the World Cup anymore… while his mate Bellingham is
@@imsubbingtoeveryonewhosubs6071 england are leaving this saturday after france do a demolition job, the fact england had draw with usa using their main squad just shows they won't win the WC
@@SugarRayValentine 1. England have a good chance of beating France, especially if they played like they did v Senegal
2. At least that’s in the QF and not the group 🤣
3. England played one of the worst iv ever seen and they weren’t even playing for a win cause they knew they weren’t gonna struggle against wales.
4. At the start of the year france lost 2-1 to Denmark playing their main team. What’s ur point?
5. All England have to do is stop mbappe, all the other players are no threat what so ever, and I don’t think u have met Englands rb Kyle Walker.
@@SugarRayValentine The fact that u also said “playing their main team” shows u know nothing about the England football team, all England have is a main team goalkeeper. All the other positions Southgate just picks who has recently been playing well and who he thinks deserves to start. England don’t even have a proper “main team”.
Bambi, best young talent in the world
My god. You are right - he resembles Bambi )) jumpy jumpy
@@salomaonplanetsaturn6038 all the munich players call him that haha
Saka, Bellingham, Foden and Sanho are all better than him, which is why he picked Germany in the first place.
@@Delboy0 lmao that's ridiculous
@@marcok8585 the truth hurts he was tricked into playing for a much weaker team. I actually feel sorry for him when you see he is so much better than the rest of the actual German developed players. The same happened to Carvalho who Portugal tapped up but he was brave enough to realise England is going to be a better team because they have more young talent and is now looking to switch back to playing for England.
I clicked to hear his accent (and his story). Wasn't disappointed
The future of the German National team is very bright.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not as bright as Japan

I second you 😎
Tagging along because it’s going to happen 100%. This kid is NASTY. Absolute magic on the pitch.
Felt like I must join the club.
and thats not just a prediction. its a spoiler.
Btw I'm so in love with his british-german accent♥♥♥♥
If you check his earlier interviews, his accent has changed quite a bit e.g. more with the german.
I bet he’s glad you approve
Yeah he is faking the German accent because you watch interviews from 9 months ago he is speaking English no hint of German at all. I think he trying to justify his choice to play for Germany by pretending he is more German than really is. He basically picked Germany because he knew it would be easier to get into the German national team than England national team that is stacked with great young talent in his positions.
@@Delboy0 God you're desperate
@@LizudemAm The only desperate people are the German FA desperately begging him to switch from England to Germany because they have so little German talent they can produce themselves. The fact there is an interview less than 3 months ago where he has perfect English accent kinda exposes that he is doing a Steve McLaren and putting on this fake German accents for this interview, showing he is a little embarrassed by turning his back on England the country who produced him and trying to make himself sound more German than he really is. I speak German and the kid even speaks German with an English accent.
To all the British natives: Can you actually hear he’s not 100% born and raised British by his accent? I’m very familiar with both accents and as a native German speaker I feel like I can hear some German sounds coming out of him every now and then.
Just out of interest! Cheers!
He has a very slight German accent. If you didn't know him, and heard him speak, you wouldn't know he's German as it's not a strong accent, but you would know he's a foreigner.
@@bradzz yeah, that’s what I was thinking. I find it fascinating in a way cause when he speaks German you can tell that he wasn’t born and raised here either. Not so much by his accent but by his grammar slips. So technically he doesn’t sound fully nativ in either of „his“ languages which I’ve never seen before. No judgement at all by the way. Like I said, it’s sort of fascinating
@@m4rcsscrib it honestly is interesting hearing him speak. He sounds natural British with slang and pronunciation but there's something noticeably different at the same time that you can pick out as foreign. Definitely some German sounds I'm hearing. As someone of German and British heritage I think its cool to hear.
@@_J_S_ Yes, definitely. Maybe that's a common thing for someone who didn't learn their second language from an early age, like infancy. He's been in Germany for a while now, which can make switching between the two languages a bit trickier. I imagine this might have been different when he used to be surrounded by English full-time.
Anyway, I'm sure he'll also iron out his few German grammar slips eventually. :)
I'm not British but He has a British accent but with a hint of something, sometimes he's a bit slow with some words, half a breathe too slow that throws you off and makes you think there's a lil something off here. Maybe if he went back to England and lived there for 3 years or so he'll hide it a lot better.
To be honest the first time I saw him I was like, "who's this kid?"
Boy oh boy he has proven me wrong. He's only 18 and he'salready in the Bayern's first team and the Germany national team.
If it wasn't for him, Germany would've been done in the Hungary game. This young man is a real gem.

He deserves all the best things in life♥♥
I am glad Jamal made a right choice before Euro 2020. Imagine Jamal missing penalty shoot for England against Italy and racism he could face ...wow
He just said in an interview that he is not ready to take a penalty in a moment like this because he´s not confident that he will make that. I really love that about him. He is humble and isn´t afraid to admit flaws that he might have at the moment. He seems like the guy who always want to improve and by saying things like that people can hold him accountable. That´s how he forces himself to get better
@@LJMahomes I agree with your point.

He is literally so cute and he seems like such a nice guy. And he is very young playing in the official league, that speaks a lot about his ambition and determination.
The amount of salt in the comments
Its 2024 and he is 21.
He is now a very big talent and starter for bayern.
Bambi ♥️
I think his carefreeness on the field is one of his biggest strengths.
Nagelsmann recently said that hei is not yet a fully trained athlete, so his role right now will more often be a joker than starting for bayern.
But boy to I could watch him doing la croquetas all day 😅
I think that's a good decision from Nagelsmann because I'd rather see him work hard in training and play 30 minutes with 100% than having him 90 minutes on the field with only 80% power.
@@BennyR92 absolutely agree, he will have enough playtime in the close future, no need to overpace rn. Also hope he stays clear of injuries that way
