When I was just outa high-school I found a CD called Electrifying Thunderstorms. The cover was all dark storm clouds with lightning streaking across. I put that CD on repeat all night. I never thought I'd sleep that good again. Then this gem came across my feed and now I'm sleeping like a baby again. Thank you!!!

There are such channels, where a narrator tells stories (I personally prefer the horror stories), while it rains as a background. But I like to listen to the stories, coz they're super interesting & scary, not falling asleep while listening ; so I listen to those when I'm not sleepy. This channel is created for relaxing your brain, just to listen to this wonderful sound of a storm, with everything a storm must have. But a movie with a storm as a background sounds very dumm to me. Try with stories told in the rain. Wish You all the best! ☮️

This is actually the magic of rain EmmKaa. It really sounds different every time it rains, because of the different surfaces I record. It like each rain shower has it's own character. 😊 Hope you had a great night with it! Edy 🤗

I very much enjoy what I think was your first composition on Pure Sleeping... I remember telling you it sounds, to me, like rain hitting the patio outside an open door. I used to live in the city... @@purerelaxingvibes Let’s see how this one works, it normally without any rain in real life or rain videos, it normally takes me anywhere from 25 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes to be able to fall asleep but with rain in real life or with rain videos, it takes me anywhere from 25 minutes to 30 minutes to fall asleep. I am always looking for new videos to see how fast they help me.

On some channels I've listened to rain, which sounds like something being fried - for example, I've listened to rain (with thunder, but this doesn't matter) sounding exactly like potatoes being fried. The first time I listened to this, I had no intention of sleeping. Imagine my surprise when woke up 8 hrs later and my Bulldog was still snoring away. This is the perfect sound to put me to sleep.
I have tried a lot of different Tones for sleep and because of the blue light of the screen it makes it difficult but this video was absolutely perfect ... when I was younger I spent a lot of time Outdoors and absolutely loved the sound of the rain on the roof in summer storms. I use a fan that helps with some of the white noise..... the black screen and this hooked in my bedroom surround sound priceless
nt only do i love listening to them each night in order to fall asleep, but i also prefer ones where you talk in the beginning. you have a very relaxing and calming voice and i like the count down because i use that time to get the most comfortable
This is perfect! I have been looking for a good lake thunderstorm video for a while. This is the right blend of noises, and I can listen to it loudly if I need to drown out the subwoofers on my street while I work from home or I can turn down the volume for sleeping. A lot of lake thunderstorm videos don't have enough rain noise, or too much wind, or are too quiet. Also, I do like your dimmed-screen animations, including this one. I have narcolepsy, and I am resistant to or sleepwalk on every sleep medicine I've tried, so I'm unmedicated and wake up every 20 to 45 minutes usually, throughout the night. It's nice to wake up and see a gentle and soothing animated scene instead of just darkness. (Shh... don't tell my sleep doctor I have my laptop open all night -- he'll give me a lecture about sleep hygiene!)
I listen to your videos on my bedroom TV at night, and it’s interesting the different tones in the sound of the rain have different effects on how I fall asleep. Absolute godsend when you have insomnia ❤️

This is actually the magic of rain EmmKaa. It really sounds different every time it rains, because of the different surfaces I record. It like each rain shower has it's own character. 😊 Hope you had a great night with it! Edy 🤗

And what you said about rain sounding different because of the surfaces it hits... 🤔🤔 💡 but of course! 😀 Silly as this sounds I never thought it through before! I very much enjoy what I think was your first composition on Pure Sleeping... I remember telling you it sounds, to me, like rain hitting the patio outside an open door. I used to live in the city... Los Angels, in fact... but now I live in the desert on a dirt road so the rain sounds VERY different. Hmmm. I guess I miss the sound of rain on concrete... not worth going back to L.A. for tho!

@@purerelaxingvibes Let’s see how this one works, it normally without any rain in real life or rain videos, it normally takes me anywhere from 25 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes to be able to fall asleep but with rain in real life or with rain videos, it takes me anywhere from 25 minutes to 30 minutes to fall asleep. I am always looking for new videos to see how fast they help me.
@@joshuajoelhorne1510 Yes, you're totally right about that - on some other channels the rain really sounds like static TV noise. On some channels I've listened to rain, which sounds like something being fried - for example, I've listened to rain (with thunder, but this doesn't matter) sounding exactly like potatoes being fried.

The first time I listened to this, I had no intention of sleeping. Imagine my surprise when woke up 8 hrs later and my Bulldog was still snoring away. This is the perfect sound to put me to sleep.

I have tried a lot of different Tones for sleep and because of the blue light of the screen it makes it difficult but this video was absolutely perfect ... when I was younger I spent a lot of time Outdoors and absolutely loved the sound of the rain on the roof in summer storms. I use a fan that helps with some of the white noise..... the black screen and this hooked in my bedroom surround sound priceless

nt only do i love listening to them each night in order to fall asleep, but i also prefer ones where you talk in the beginning. you have a very relaxing and calming voice and i like the count down because i use that time to get the most comfortable

This is perfect! I have been looking for a good lake thunderstorm video for a while. This is the right blend of noises, and I can listen to it loudly if I need to drown out the subwoofers on my street while I work from home or I can turn down the volume for sleeping. A lot of lake thunderstorm videos don't have enough rain noise, or too much wind, or are too quiet. Also, I do like your dimmed-screen animations, including this one. I have narcolepsy, and I am resistant to or sleepwalk on every sleep medicine I've tried, so I'm unmedicated and wake up every 20 to 45 minutes usually, throughout the night. It's nice to wake up and see a gentle and soothing animated scene instead of just darkness. (Shh... don't tell my sleep doctor I have my laptop open all night -- he'll give me a lecture about sleep hygiene!)
