My T-Mobile android voicemail was totally different than this video. I only wish my set up would have been this easy. This video is a year & a half old so things have changed since then.
I wish you can use the built in voicemail from Android itself.
@@NightcoreSuzuki it's weird because I have had success on my older OnePlus 6T but my new OnePlus 8 Pro doesn't work within the built in Visual Voicemail
@@train21 I have many phones and only phones that T-Mobile sells are compatible with built in visual voicemail. Others like Xiaomi, Oppo, and even newer Huawei phones don't work tho :/
I think they do this because every Android phone is different so they need to come up with some universal way of doing it. This is why we have SMS for messaging because there are just so many Android Phones and it's because Android is open source.
@@joshingwithyahaha it's just annoying because Verizon, like the company who doesn't allow wifi calling but allows visual voicemail on any Android devices.
I'm bummed. I had a Google pixel 3 xl that transcribed your voice mails for free. I hate not having that feature anymore.
How do you make Visual Voicemail default? All of a sudden now when I get a VM, I get a notification from both Visual Voicemail and my stock voicemail app. I have a Galaxy S20, thank you!
I have the same issues, I have the s21 ultra i was getting double notifications and then the app just stopped working. Drives me nuts. I just went back to the old way of calling in out of pure frustration.
I see that this is 2 years old, but if you haven't figured it out or for anybody else that runs across this... You should be able to touch and hold the voicemail notification that you don't want to get and have an option to turn it off. I'm pretty sure you can do that for all notifications. However since it is through the phone app it might also keep it from showing you missed calls, I'm not sure.
Thanks Stet for posting the video
Thanks for much for the tutorial...
I just upgraded from an iphone 6s to a gt Master Edition and it's really annoying that visual voicemail doesn't come as a default feature with a phone model that's only two years old but it does with a phone model that's 8 years old
Great Video. Do you know any plans that support a hotspot device?
Thank you
Thank you information was helpful.
Thank you! This was helpful!
There is no app on my phone that says Visual Voicemail anywhere I've scoured every menu and submenu cannot figure out how to get a Visual Voicemail app on this Samsung a21 phone
Thanks
When I open the vm from my notifications, listen to a message... and then press DELETE to delete the message. The messageis NOR DELETEDin the APP! MY APP had 15 messagesin it I previously deleted... There is no option to delete all read /listened to messages. So now I have to go into the App and delete all of them individually AGAIN! Why is this happening?
How did you get the VM notification? My phone doesn't do that. I have Oneplus N200
How do you get back the prior t-mobile voicemail app
Can i install a visual voicemail app on my Samsung a32? My old LG Stylo3 which I absolutely loved had the app already on it but I can't find it on GooglePlay. No way will I go through some 1970s voicemail procedure on my new phone! Can you advise me?
How many people have called you since you showed 2 (I assume they're both yours) phone numbers on the video? I'm tempted, but I won't.
I have a Pixel and want to use the VVM native to the Pixel's phone app, not the T-Mobile app. I am on T-Mobile pre-paid. VVM will not activate (although occasionally it will spontaneously start working for a limited time). It sounds like when using the T-Mobile app VVM will work, but transcription is extra. However if my Pixel is managing the VVM, Google is doing the transcribing, not T-Mobile. So why isn't the basic VVM service activating?
I can tell by your remark that if there's an idea in YOUR head it should be in solitary confinement for being a credible threat to society.
What if I don't want t mobile as my default??? How can I change it to Google...
Hi,
What’s the name of the app that you use?
does this work with pure talk?
Who knows what would work with AT&T - H2O carrier please!!!
Are you going make a review new hello mobile for 25 bucks a month unlimited data, text and talk

Hello. Can you please tall me how to set up visual voice mail on note 20 ultra on simple mobile?
Visual Voicemail actually works but you wont get Live Transcription (Android 13+)
What if you forget your password
Technology always gets more & more complicated.

I need help,I cannot enter again when I fail 52555 it tell me to enter call back back number and I forget that member this is my problem, any option please
the enhancement will NOT turn on!!??😢😢
How to set huawei mobile
Does anyone know how to reset their voicemail password?
thumbed
My voice mail don't tell me how to get a code
How many voicemails can this phone hold ?
It's not the phone, it's the service. My T-Mobile holds WAY more voicemails than my Visible. I assume it's by time, not number of voicemails, but I've never tried to do anything to confirm that.
So I now have to pay for something that I had from Sprint already in my plan 🙄
T Mobile sux
HOW DO YOU CHECK YOUR PHONE MESSAGES .still unclear
This is complete crap. No one, I repeat, NO ONE wants to use T-Mobile's crappy visual voicemail app on Android. Android has visual voicemail built right into the phone app. THAT is what people want to use. Total waste of time.
When my Sprint Co switched to T Mobil, my original voicemail icon disappeared off my phone & the t mobil visual voicemail was in its place???
How do I find it back & get my old voicemails back? 😔
@@lisaalony415 LOL, there's always one who's happy to pay for a service that replaced a free superior one.. Built-in & free features should not be blocked by corporations so that the only option is a paid replacement.
The worst app on my phone. Just horrible.
Yeah 805 area code
Thank you very much!! why t-mobile complicate things so much. Thank you very much --I really appreciate
