How many dramas did you watch ? This is the most basic romance drama. The cast and main lead chemistry save the awful drama plot and unrealistic character in working place.
Don't listen to the negative reviews. My wife and I have been watching romcoms ever since Harry Met Sally. We've watched all the K-Dramas .. and this one nailed it. #1 on Netflix for a reason. All bad reviews are because of the bad depiction of the Arab guy (which yes, was bad taste). But doesn't change the fact that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this series, and definitely one of our top-5 all-time favorites. Realllllly hoping there is a Season 2!! 😊

A few more suggestions for you as I also started watching k dramas not so long ago...true beauty, contract marriage, oh my venus, encounter, something in the rain.. obviously none of those are as good as king the land though
