Merino's been an available starter at Sociedad since he was 22. That consistency is underrated cause he's getting noticed at 28, instead of 23-25.
He'd give us useful depth, especially if we don't get a long term starter.

how do we look at gyokeres body of work and not do everything we can to sign him, im honestly confused but counting the days cause i know arsenal with get this right
A purple patch season is a risk Edu&Arteta may not be willing to take especially for the amount they are asking for.
He woukd cost 70 or 80 million and has had one good season in a poor league
Merino is Best
buy : calafiori , zubimendi or merino or locatelli , pedro neto , osimhen
sell : tavares, tierney , partey or jorginho , lokonga , smith rowe or fabio vieira , nelson , nketiah
i would buy between 4-5 players.
If we buy zubimendi i wouldn't buy merino or locatelli.
Same logic for merino and locatelli.
i would sell between 5-7 players.
If we sell partey i would keep jorginho and vice versa.
If we sell smith rowe i would keep fabio vieira and vice versa.
Lets say that calafiori is 40m , zubimendi merino or locatelli 40m , pedro neto 40m osimhen 100m that's 220m total.
Lets say that tavares is 15m , tierney 12m , partey or jorgino 12-15m , lokonga 15m , smith rowe or fabio vieira 20m , nelson 15m , nketiah 30m that's 119-122m total.
If we manage to lower osimhen price down to 80 mil we might add another player into the squad or keep one of the players that are for sale.

Bruno G woukd cost 80 million which he ain't worth. Then we wouldn't be able to spend big money on a striker or winger

@MeeJacobs6929 we don't need to spend big. We scored plenty of goals more than anyone. We need to get clever signings not who is tue mkst expensive signing otherwise we will become the next United. Merino is a very good deal for us. Cheap and always fit and very physical and technical.
@@LMaximus904 does he raise the levels? Does he win us the league? It's not about just spending money for the sake of spending. But if you feel that Isak or Osimhen is going to give us a better chance of winning the league then spend the money.
@MeeJacobs6929 Isak is horrible with his back to goal. Which is something he woukd be asked to do a lot fkr us as people go ultra defensive against us. Especially at home. Osimhen is very janky and cannot pass the ball AT ALL. Hid decision making is horrendous. let's be honest look at every serie a striker that came to england? None worked out. Both of these players would cost almost 100 million. They aren't the right signings. Football is a systems game not fifa where it's all about singing tue best and the rest will take care of itself. Gyokeres woukd be better option as he is great with being a focal point and linking up with people and can run in behind. He's a clever striker.
arsenal will only get the players when the first game in the season if they lose then rush to buy players an ruin them after words like ozil............ill wait until then arsenal arent doing nun in the transfer window xD ......AFC!!!!
