Wow I thought I was crazy for a second! I was cringing the whole time until a student pointed out the incorrect formula @4:15 mark LoL Still, followed through and practiced it well. Thanks Brian!
Hi sir. Just want to ask if we can just cross multiply 2 and (1-cosx) squared, then divide both sides by 1-cos x which results to 1/2 = cos x. I solved it that way and it was faster and so just want to clarify if my method was right or algebraically correct? Thanks sirrrrr God bless
I am so glad to see other teachers have some of the same questions and make mistakes like I do in my classroom!

Thank you very much. My high school teacher just couldn't explain this.
Thank you for posting! This was very helpful! :)

Thanks. This is a great problem. Very fun to solve.
Clear and easy to follow. You have my thanks.
Very helpful. I appreciate you uploading your lectures
you are very welcome! happy to be able to help
did anyone else notice the mix matched markers and caps on the bottom of the whiteboard
thanks from tunisia
For cos x=1, x=0, 2pi
better than hwang
sin x/2= ±√(1-cosx)/2
you wrote it wrong tho
Later in the video I change it
You made a mistake on the left side. Cos x = 1 at (1 , 0). You accidentally wrote the ordered pair as (0 , 1).
great catch, thanks, I will update with an annotation
😍
