Im getting this phone soon, and I didnt know of most of these features. And this tutorial was very useful. The splitscreen mode would actually be useful. I could watch Twitch or UA-cam while also using Discord or some other messaging app at the same time.
I just got this phone 4 days ago and i am enjoying it so far. I want to add a useful feature is that you could use the side key to open or close the notification panel which I find really useful since the screen is big. The double tap to wake up screen is pretty useful too since it's easier to do that when your phone is on a table or something.
I am watching with galaxy A12 which i got this a few days ago and i am really impressed about the battery life. Because I was start using this phone with battery 100% and it is still at 100% even after 40 minutes of watching youtube videos. I have never experienced such this kind of long battery life on my old galaxy s7 edge model. Really great budget phone.

But also fully modernised. the price nearly blew my socks off and I assumed it had to be a renewal model, but no.. you are paying less and getting more. Plus that screen size! Can’t wait to unbox!
For the Screenshot feature you may also use the screen (If your phone is updated to Android 11) Activation: 1. Go to settings 2. Tap "Display" 3. Turn-on Edge Panels then click it 4. Check the task panel and click edit (drag screenshot icon to the panel) TO USE: 1. Swipe the edge panel left or right (depends where you placed it) 2. Tap screenshot icon (now you have your screenshot using your screen) *to save your power and volume button from over using it
Thanks for this . I do love this phone however pop up notifications can be annoying other than that this phone is wonderful. I love I can also add more space by getting a new SD card .

I have a tip for you! You seemed to pull down, hit search a lot. Why not add that searchbar as a quicklink to your homescreen. This search i super nice, because it searches EVERYTHING in your, apps, contacts, links, emails everything
I've just bought a Samsung A12 so this was very useful. Only problem is when I got to 2:43 for the battery percentage i had to look under 'device care, then hit battery, then more battery settings (at the bottom) and hit the 2nd option. It didn't come up when I searched for it under status bar. "Price for my Samsung was $249 from Big W for those that want to know"

I just got this phone as my old galaxy s8 was no longer compatible with my carrier. For a cheap phone, it was a huge battery upgrade for me where my s8 had 3200mha while the a12 has 5000mha. I used this phone for almost the whole day and I still had lots of battery life left unlike my s8 where I had to charge it. The processor in the phone is more slower than my s8 but I can deal with it since I only browse stuff on chrome or watch UA-cam videos. Only thing I wished there was on the A12 that I like on my s8 is always on display where I can see notifications, the time and day while my phone is sleep. I know there's apps that can do this but the one I tried that I like made turning on the display buggy where when I turn it on, it just goes back to sleep most times.
My A12 doesn't have a magnetic sensor, so various apps that require one (compass apps, stargazing apps, etc.) will not function on this phone. If I had known that beforehand I wouldn't have bought it.
Something that was discovered accidentally is in the phone app, in contacts swipe the contact to the right to instantly dial the number or swipe the other way to open a text message.
Hi. Am trying to hook my A12 up to my dj mixer to record video while recording audio from my analog dj mixer... I have got the trs and trrs cables, but when I record video with audio linked in by the trrs into the headphone input I just get the phone external mic recording... Have I missed a setting in the A12 to record audio straight from the headphone/mic input socket? Any help anyone? Thanks..

Hi Everyone, have just bought this model and am having issues with the colours. They are washed out , have gone into settings etc however despite what I click, adjust, there is no improvement. My older, smaller samsung had vivid colours compared to this model. Hoping there's a fix for this. Thank you.

YOU FORGOT A MAIN PHONE FEATURE .. hold palm up and it will take pic for you in selfie mode with a tiny timer ... this would have been better than to mention that you can have 2 fb signed in which is a app feature not a phone feature
usingthe system photo and video function, before I use the phone to take a video or photo how do I reduce the size so that if I take a 30 second video it does not show up as being 50 meg but smaller like 4 meg? I would like to do this while making the photo/video without going back and having to edit everything with an editor.

When I noticed that too, but it only last that long when your battery is between 90 and 100%

Sounds like she's clicking it twice? only click once, and see if that works.
