You all have seen the "402km/h flyby" video at the Nurburgring I uploaded a couple of months ago. This time I have recorded the same car on the GP Strecke. This time I recorded a couple of incredible high speed fly by's on the straight. You can see some seriously flames coming out from the exhaust! I have never seen that before on video.
Performance Koenigsegg Agera R:
- Engine: 5.0 L V8 twin-turbocharged
- Power output: 1140 hp at 7100 rpm -- redline @ 7500 rpm
- Torque: over 1000 Nm from 2700 to 7300 rpm
- Max torque: 1200 Nm at 4100 rpm
- Acceleration:
0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) 2.9 seconds,
0-200 km/h 7,5 sec,
0-300 km/h, 14,5 sec,
0-300-0 km/h 21.2 sec,

Best looking car ever? YEP.
This car is the perfect combination of new and old technology. A classic twin-turbo V8 for an engine, but with a seriously fast sequential paddle shift gearbox. All this with two-wheel drive means it can accelerate faster than a car with double the cylinder number, double the turbos, and double the traction (AWD)....namely the Bugatti Veyron. I love it! Best sound EVER
The Bugatti is faster in 0-60, 0-100, and a quarter mile....
0-60 maybe, but only because of the direct traction benefit of an AWD system. 0-100 is much closer (could go either way) and after that it's no competition whatsoever. Proof of my point? Sure: 1200 HP Bugatti Veyron Vitesse vs Koenigsegg Agera R x 4 races

but thats the vitesse not the actual supersport oh and the supersport still has the world speed record i think this and the Bugatti are the two best cars in the world
True but there's no question this could trounce a supersport as well, considering that the vitesse is essentially a supersport (they just only made a limited number of those). This and the Bugatti are both excellent, but don't even get me started on the Hennessey Venom GT. It beats both of these handily
Sunny Singh The Veyron SS got disqualified from having the record as they removed the speed limiter from it. The limiter went to 258 while they removed it to get to 267.8. Agera R can reach about 275.

UGHH. If i could have any car and be happy for the rest of my life, it would be the agera r. Words cannot describe how much I love this car.
This car is absolutely amazing!! Built from the ground up by a true car enthusiast. Not only is it the fastest production car ever built (pending confirmation), but doesn't abandon the Swedish heritage of safety and fuel economy. I'm not sure about the newest R, but previous versions are both California Emissions legal - the strictest in the world - and adhere to IIHS safety guidelines.

The back end of this car is probably one of the sexiest rear ends I've seen on a car in a long time.
I don't know how they do it! A lot of other high end turbocharged cars, like the Bugatti, Huayra, Noble M600, 12C, etc, etc, have significant whine, even when the companies say they put effort into tuning the noise of the car (like Pagani and McLaren). I actually like the Huayra's note anyway, but the Agera just kicks all of their asses to Burundi.
NO whine at all. Mindblowing.
You know how they say "you can out run a cop, but you cant outrun the radio", well i think this thing can almost outrun the radio.
I had a GTO and now a G8 GT with a few mods and def know what you mean. Although I don't really drive fast anymore, I admire these guys and these cars. This level of performance along with luxury is in a whole different dimension compared to 99.9% of cars. Especially the Agera R! I am a swede and all the more proud of my heritage because of Koenigsegg!
What a piece of art; the true definition of a hyper car lies within Koenigsegg.

When you see flames shooting out of the exhaust pipes of a car you know its a mean bastard.I remember buying my brand new 2005 GTO with 400HP thinking it was a bad car. Pulled up next to a Ford GT which at the time I had no clue WTH it was.After trying to entice a run I guess he had enough an blew me away.1st my ear drums imploded then the frt of my GTO was almost burnt by flames shooting out from the GT Quite a display n looked much like this Agera R.What a site too see. Especially in person.

Yeh they do it's called The Koenigsegg CCGT. The CCGT was created for the sole purpose of racing in FIA GT1. As the car was being finished, the regulations in FIA GT1 were changed. Now a minimum of 350 examples of the actual model that is going to compete must be produced per year. As Koenigsegg's production volumes are much less than this, they have not been able to enter the car in GT1 racing.

Not sure why "Backfire" was put in the title but the quick pop between shifts is normal as well the down shifting pops which is usually unburned fuel that when hits the hot tail pipe ignites. There is nothing wrong with that motor, to be clear...

no .. in FM4 we got the Agera and it's an older model 2011
in this video we got the Agera R which is a newer model 2012-13 and has MOAR power and better look

The car holding the record is the Nissan GT-R- Nismo the Agera r didn't have enough handles to beat it.
Jordan Dally late answer but that is because the agera r nevbber have tried it. koenigsegg themself are gonna bring the agera R and one:1 to nurburgring this spring and beat down porsche with their 918

That is true. But look at the GTR. 100k and you get 400k lambo performance. Price doesn't always mean you are buying a better car. and you could easily modify the vette to keep up with it for a lot less. I personally think it won't out-do the agera but the guys point was valid

Agera is so fast, that in fact you dont need to wash it. You just accelerate and the dirt just goes off.
