Hi Jill, glad you posted. I just made the sweet beer bread (I tweak with some honey and sugar) last night. I make it often and it freezes well too. I have the cheese you used, unopened and will try this recipe. People don't know what they're missing! It's so quick to make. Tfs🙋✌️
I can’t wait to try this ,Jill! I make your original beer bread recipe all the time, to go with soups and stews, and it is to die for!!!! I can imagine what the cheese does for this one!❤️
@@Jill4Today thanks Jill-also want you to know I have been praying for you every single morning since your diagnosis and will continue to do so! You look fabulous! I love seeing you and the director!!❤️
Hi Jill! I’m waiting for our bread to cool. What an easy recipe-thanks! I put a little extra yellow cheddar cheese and olive oil (rather than butter) on the top. Also, I baked it in the “air fryer” convection oven since it is just one loaf. It took 42 min just like you said (in this recipe or your older beer bread recipe).
Hello! I'm so happy that you watched my video. Your idea of olive oil and extra cheese on top is excellent. I wish I'd thought of it. Next time! I'm hope you, Bob, and Shadow are well. 💜
@@Jill4Today Wasn't trying to be picky, and after thinking about it, a Sam Adams stout would work well, too. I suppose the better the beer, it will shine through in the bread. I definitely want to try this bread, and most likely I am just going to use the richest stout I can get if I don't have the oatmeal stout.
Dang, My Grandma might have done the same thing. ;) I'm so gonna try this one!

Good to see you two! You both look great and healthy!
Hi Ellen. So good to see you. I hope all is going well with you. You think you'll ever return?

Now we have sampled (inhaled!) two pieces of bread each. Delicious!
Great to see you. Hope all is well with you both.
Hi Kay, good to see you. I hope all is well
Waiting for a signature from you two.
I know. I know. We gotta sit down and do one. Thanks for the nudge. 🍷
Can the sugar be left out of this recipe?
Yes, you can! I'd see no problem with that at all. Enjoy!
@@Jill4Today thank you! I will be making this with a homemade stew this week. 😊
Not Samuel Adams, Samuel Smith.
Yea, I know, I said Adam's. Clearly the name is Smith.

Oh, no, I didn't think you were being picky. You were right. If you can find it Fort George Cavatica is a really good dark beer as well🍺
@@Jill4Today Never heard of it, I will check it out, thanks.
