Cael was up in Lowell MA not too long ago - your right about Jude C. - One of my youth wrestlers - now grown and a cop - talked with Cael - he was in a wall mart parking lot catching some z’sss in his car - he said he was traveling to see a wrestler (we knew who it was). So you hit on something very important - Coach Cael and his staff recruit harder, coach harder (better), oversee their wrestlers like no other coaching staff in the USA. What coach do you know who is one of the greatest wrestlers this country has ever produced who would drive 10 hours (alone) to go see a recruit he wants to coach??? NO one else. Also the best room in the country to train and get better. I am an old coach - I have seen the elephant - no one is close to Cael Sanderson - I think he tops Gable as the best coach we have ever had in the USA.
Already a shoulder injury in high school. Tough break. Too young for those kinds of injuries. Good luck to the kid and to Penn State. Breaking into the Penn State lineup will be extremely difficult even for top recruits.
Howard is NOT a stud for 125. He is a "has been". Howard and Steen would get us zero points at NCAAs. Braeden Davis is our best 125 pounder this year. He destroyed Steen in a recent match. Howard is yesterday's news
