My first time down the Upper Yough in western Maryland (an east coast classic class IV, in case you're not familiar) was being led down by an 82 year old. Never too young to kayak!
@@chris_paulo Thanks. I'm thinking about ordering one. I'm looking for a river runner that will step up to class 4 when I'm ready. Do you find the 9R2 unstable? I've heard some things. Do you have to constantly drive it to get it to perform like the Scorch? Thanks in advance. Love your vids!
@@derekbell5333 Sorry, didn't see this reply. I find all Pyranha boats very stable. Only one that ever felt a little weird was the original 9R. Sometimes I would catch an edge in boily water if I wasn't paying attention. What boat did you end up getting?
In this particular video we had five boaters aged: 47, 40, 39, and a couple twenty-something year olds. The title is mostly making fun of my one friend and I because we've been complaining and comparing our aches and pains of getting older.
Well, I really am old but used to love that run. Outstanding water quality.
Amazing lines. North fork looks so buck!
You appear so relaxed in your boat sliding off all those rocks 😀
Looks like a cool run
I kayak and over 60 years old.

Is that a Scorch??
Negative. In this particular video I'm paddling a 9R2.

How old is a middle-ager?

@@chris_paulo Thanks for the reply. Keep on keepin' on. Looking good, and you're not really very old yet.
