It's a real coincident but Yuzu's older sister gave up skating for him as well like Javi's sister
The situation is very similar
Yuzu's family couldn't afford for two of them to skate so his sister volunteered to quit saying she'd rather quit herself if yuzu have to quit. Because he's so talented!!
Also she was the reason yuzu started to skate at 4
Sounds like a wonderful loving sister like Javi's
I just want to say Thank you to both of them💕💕
sounds like woman gave up her dream bc of man. As usual
@@AlisaM-L At least these men never forget to thank their sisters and never stop talking about them when they are being asked why they started skating.
How good are the sisters of these two men. So wonderful..loving and caring,! I salute them for that!!!
Yuzu's sister didn't do such a thing - giving up dreams for her brother.
Her withdraw from skating was natrual, and her family kept supporting her until she stopped skating.
People can check this fact on JSF and relative party's websites.
Don't connect people together that don't share the similar situation.
Hanyu be in that movie is only for supporting his hometown Sendai, which was suffered because of the 311 earthquake. Just don't wanna people take this wrong...
2:00 Perfection knows perfection 😌
“He is a warrior, that’s not a stretch.”
Yuzuru Hanyu is the best skater of the world i Love him very much
maybe this is what Yuzuru means that its "easy to accept congratulaions/thankyou even though deep inside theyre saying you bastard" lmao
Correct and i feel sorry for him!
But he’s one of the great athletes in the world!, Win or Loose he’s one of the best athletes!
"yuna was his idol. he idolized her"
yas yuzu yas. now give us yuzu yuna content. kkkk xD
IKRR
I love how invested he is in his pupils. The part about trying to get yuna to point her toes was everything, haha. Oh well, nobody's perfect. ;)
+sparkl121 "I'll never forgive myself for not getting Yuna to point her god-damned toes" I fell off my chair laughing!
A Hanyu movie coming out!? OMG I can't wait!
Hanyu's sister didnt give up skating. she kept competing around before her college.
I love David Wilson’s cadence. I’d listen to him tell a story about anything 😂
Nobody’s perfect we are all made mistakes even if you are a well known and great athletes!, every great athletes have a downfall whether you came from European, North and South America, Mediterranean, Africa, Middle East and Asian countries!
They’re just human beings and their stamina sometimes is not great as you want it to be!
Try to put yourself in every Athletes that is competing and even if you try to do your best it’s still not enough because some people will always criticize you!
Every Athletes dreams to win and bring Trophy or medals specially if you are competing in other countries!
They’re not hypocrites to tell to anybody their dreams that one day they will bring trophy or medal to their own country!
They’re working so hard to achieve it!
To all athletes all over the world!
I respect and salute all of you, all of your sacrifice and dedication is very admirable don’t let other people put you down whether you win or loose your still a winner because you gave your 💯 percent of your time to your chosen sports!, Some people they don’t understand you specially if you live in other countries but put in your mind and heart that you’re one of the best athletes in the world👍
He is so funny😂 really interesting interview!!!
David really out here channeling his inner Truman Capote
Dude. Methinks Hanyu didn't switch choreographers cos he liked "shopping around". I dunno bout other skaters but that's not something Hanyu has ever shown much inclination in doing. He seems much more inclined to just stick to one thing he's decided on and make it work from there. He probably only stopped coming to you because he tried doing the same with you, tried to make it work with you, but couldn't. He wanted POTO, you apparently foisted NDP on him. He wanted R&J2.0 and practically had to get down on his knees to beg you for it. If he had stuck with you there would never have been a POTO, SEIMEI and H&L. He's only ever had 3 coaches all his life, 4 if you include his very first one from when he was 4-8 (who referred him to his second one when she returned to Hokkaido), and he's been with Buttle for a long time cos he likes the guy's style for his SPs. Hasn't switched from Bourne ever since he said goodbye to you either. You probably would've noticed it yourself by now. He wanted collaboration. You wouldn't give it to him. That's why he left. Good job on Notte Stellata though, which he came back to you for. Guess that one you had no qualms in choreographing for him and he had no qualms in just leaving completely in your hands.
vspirit so well stated really ... yuzu knows what he wants so he likes to be part of creation of his programs... he likes to choose his music ... Shae-Lynn apparently is very collaborative... I love all her programs (not only from yuzu) Jeffrey’s programs are amazing as well ... I am happy he switched with those two because for some reason I hated NDP and R&J of his by Wilson ... on the other hand I love all the programs of Javi, so probably he was not for Yuzuru or he needed more time ... anyways he is really sweet
Agreed. In Shae-Lynn interview she said that Brian called her & ask her to choreograph POTO. Shae-Lynn suggest to change other music but Brian said Yuzu want it. It’s him dream to skat it. That’s how Shae-Lynn get the free skat program since then.
Exactly the point! I watched the video of the making of Seimei and I was so glad that Shae-Lynn was so cooperative and accommodating to Yuzuru, listened to his inputs and even went as far as trying to get to know the story and philosophical values behind Seimei.
One day in a distant future when Yuzuru becomes a pro, I would want him to be a coach and choreograph programs as beautiful as he had.
eienbeau yuzu has a mind of his own and hate oppositions to what he likes he looks a cutie but behind that soft exterior lies a very unyielding spirit he knows what he wants
hona Night exactly, Yuzu is an angel for the fans, but he has a very strong personality. You need that to be a champion
i love this sooo good ohmygod i wish david would also try being a commentator
OMG !!! I love this interview ♥
I loved this!
David Wilson, o coreógrafo de maior responsabilidade na carreira de Yuna Kim.
Thank goodness he switched coaches to Buttle and Bourne, look at the way you talked about him was like you're just simply toooo expensive for Hanyu to AFFORD.
Wilson just an old grumpy man....
every time someone talks about Shae Lynn, i think about her hot brother Chris :-) I miss him hehe.
Has David Wilson ever given his opinion on the low scores to Johnny Weir on the short and long programs David choreographed for 2010 Olympics? Johnny skated the 2 programs of his life and judges wouldnt award him even the Bronze medal. Other skaters fell and made huge obvious mistakes. Has David ever addressed it?
he seemed like he is criticizes Yuzu but he doesn't -_~
In every relationship there is a power struggle. Yuzu's begging David to choreo him set the tone. David was doing a "favor" for the kid. David was seemingly blind to Yuzuru's potential, Yuzu was still very young, and Yuzuru was frustrated by his lack of control of his own impeccable artistic input. It also seems David had some preconceived prejudices about Japanese skaters, or at least it sounds that way to me. Yuzu knew what he wanted and just needed David to help him shape it. Yuzu didn't yet have the power over his career he has now. Now Yuzu is boss of his life. I'm thinking maybe David, in hindsight regrets underestimating the strength of character that Yuzuru has always had. And Yuzu's programs are more beautiful as the years go by. He skates his older programs more beautifully than ever.
He’s obvious, he likes Javi most and Chan. Cause, Yuzu does not meet his choreography.
Did you hear his reply when they said that Yuzu is an immense star in this country (I assume he meant Japan)? David said "Oh is he really ,wow." Like he has no idea what a star Yuzu had become by the time of this interview, with him being so totally connected in the skating world. This was after Sochi. It was obvious to me that he doesn't have warm, friendly feelings towards Yuzu and really didn't want to talk about him. He was actually being kind of catty with that remark like it was beneath his notice and he had no interest.
The guy is full of himself
Как же он похож на Борю М....
Weird guy ! Thank God, Hanyu changed the choreographer to other people.
huigomi he is kinda creepy. 🙄🙄🙄
You understand hanyu is gay right? Is he weird?
@@Boymanjusri hanyu has not said anything about his sexuality like all 💀
@@Boymanjusri what does that have to do with the original remark?
@@Boymanjusri I think your logic is weird.

Thumbs down for the unnecessary snarkiness towards Yuzuru. I will give you credit, you did try to find something pleasant to say. But what little there was lacked sincerity. Jealousy will eat you alive, David.
Boring...
why?
