- Bursa Day Trip: Uludag Mountain, Turkish Food, Snow And More
Hey Solo family,
Today, I want to show you around Bursa, Turkey. Bursa is a large city in northwest Turkey, lying in the foothills of roughly 2,500m-high Mount Uludağ near the Sea of Marmara. The city is known for its mosques and historical sites from the early Ottoman Empire. It's nicknamed "Yeşil Bursa" (Green Bursa), owing to its many parks and trees, as well as its dramatic mountain backdrop. I want to show you a day in Bursa , so you can get a better idea of beautiful Turkey! I went on beautiful day trip! I ate local Turkish food, went on a ferry, rode on a ATV 4 wheeler, went to a famous Mountain called Uludag Mountain which is beautiful has a ski resort which has a lot of snow.
Thanks Theo Rifaii for being part of the experience!!!

Great! I'm glad you like it! It was a fun day trip! 😎
Great video, haha I would have loved to go to uladag mountain 🏔️
You would have a blast!
10:53 Like what I said before, this is touristic shop and prices little higher than normal. Turkish name is süt reçeli, English milk jam, originally Spanish dulce de leche. If you check prices from internet (Google) at top Turkish trade sites (hepsiburada, n11, trendyol etc...) 350 gr 14 TL, 550 gr 23 TL, 1700 gr 56 TL.
11:12 yes they are special, you can't find easily coffee jam anywhere in Turkey. Middle "normal" means you can find in any supermarket in anywhere.
In Turkey we live 4 seasons same time, so many tropical fruits (like avocado, kiwifruit, banana etc) growing in our country. Some areas hot dry, some wet and too rainy, very high areas of thousands of meters, and sea level areas allows the presence of a wide variety of plants growing in Turkey.
Another fact is that, after the Ottoman Empire collapsed, all those people living in the regions are gathered to the current Republic of Turkey. This ensures that the dishes of many different cultures come together.
13:02 For Google search: Reçelci Dede Ev Reçelleri - Derekızık Köyü. Reçelci means a person who selling jams and Dede means grandpa, Ev Reçelleri means house jams, or better home made jams.
Thank you for the useful information!! What part of Turkey are you from? 😃
@@TravelingSoloLogs Your welcome. I am living and working at Istanbul.

hi im planing to come turkey in march end is there any ski? and snow happend? in bursa?
In March I'm not sure, it might already be too warm for snow ❄️
I really hate if I go travelling then there are many kinds of food in every place but I can not buy them due to lack of money. It always happens. how poor I am.
I totally understand
Thank you for showing us more of Turkey 🇹🇷
You're welcome 😁
Masya allah pemandangan alamnya sangat indah di turkey 😊
Hi Solo, seems like a good day out but a little rushed. Would it have been better if you went independently? Do you need more than a day trip to Bursa? Thanks again
Probably would have been better if I went independently. I think a couple a days is good for bursa. There is a lot to see
How long it takes from istanbul to Bursa if do not stop at ATV park and Jams Shop?

I want to know what is better for skiing, 1 January month or 2 February ?
I am not sure
thanks a lot bro.
nice video.
what is the name of the travel agent n also the phone number
Hey, I don't know the travel agent because somebody set the trip up for me but there are many travel agents near Takism square that can set up this trip for you
16:17 This is sucuk (pronounce sujuk). Sucuk is made from fermented ground beef, beef fat and spices. It consists of approximately 3/1 of fat, it is spicy in plain form or when it is called acılı sucuk, there is plenty of hot pepper in it. Sucuk and pastırma (highly seasoned air-dried cured beef), are both of them Turkey's most widely eaten fermented foods.
Sounds tasty 😋
Hello! Can you go to Uludag, Bursa without going thru the Ferry? Like going there by van or 4WD car? Also, what month did you go to there?
We went in February, you don't need to take the ferry but sometimes it's faster 😃
@@TravelingSoloLogs thank you for the response, highly appreciated.
@@sppa2410 welcome to the channel 😁
those jams looked nice. also, did you go in February? is that usually how packed it gets during a weekday?
This is great, so enjoyable. Some travel, getting about, some food the Uludag Mountain, all so beautiful. But, but, but wait, no skis, no snowboard. What a waist, what are you not doing there. To be at such a great ski mountain with no skis is just not right. I should be there with a snowboard. This is so great to see but I want to be there, now. What a really great day trip. More Bursa please.
Haha, I didn't have time to ski or snowboard 🏂 hopefully soon I'll show more of bursa😁
Nice vlog bro..anyway id like to know when precisely date when you go to uludag mountain..?
Why?
Hi, thank you for this. How was the ski resort for someone who hasn’t been skiing before. I am asking as I am planning to visit. Also was there other things to do at the ski resort.
Thanks
It's good, it seemed like there is much to do and there are instructors there
