    When Tosh asked Tony if he likes working out and his response was something like "not most of the time but I like how it makes me feel" it was so good to know he's a human and not a machine.

      @mattm6200The guy that plays Thor isn't constantly jacked. He's just a big dude who puts in the work for a few months.
      Besides, he didn't specify which version of Thor. He said "the guy that plays Thor" and Tosh is the same height as that guy. So its not impossible to get jacked if you're close to the weight you want to be at.
      You're right about the genetics though.

    • @info781
      @info781 8 місяців тому

      @mattm6200 I think that is Tony's point, just by being consistent you win. I have never thought someone would start working out to win a competition, that idea would have to come a couple years in. But everyone who works out is healthier.

      @mattm6200 He's never advertised that his programs make you look like Thor, he was just answering the question if Tosh could ever be as jacked as Thor, which realistically he could. It's basically what Rob McElhenney did for season 13 of Always Sunny. Like Rob said in interviews, anyone can do it, you just have to work out an extreme amount (literally quit your 9-5 job if you have one), have a personal chef make all your meals, avoid all alcohol, sugar, anything that tastes good, etc., vist a physician twice a week to monitor everything, and have world class hollywood trainers guide you through custom workout routines, oh and have lots of money to afford all that... which Tosh does lol.

    Great guest and subject matter, went by fast! As someone (now 54) who had 8 spinal stabilization and reconstructive surgeries from ages 42-45, due to a college injury, I would say the best fitness advice is MOBILITY. You know, core strength, flexibility and movement. I had to learn how to walk again, and it took almost 3 years of 3x weekly, 2 hours/day home physical therapy and I did it… HOWEVER, had I spent time in my 30s working on the aforementioned fitness areas, it would have been immensely beneficial. Instead I was a business executive who worked 14 hour days and ate constantly at the Palm, not good. Please don’t take your health for granted, it can change quickly and it’s so much harder if you’re not already doing stuff to be/stay healthy! Cheers ❤😊

    I can't believe Tony Horton is 65. I think this is the best podcast short driveway Daniel Tosh has done so far.

    Doc Horton! P90x 100% changed my life when i was young enough to stick with it lol. He is so amazing and has the best attitude. Unlike all the get all the get skinny fast trash you see today, p90x worked because it was a regiment and god damn was it hard, but Tony always made you feel like he was right there struggling with you. The best!
