When Tosh asked Tony if he likes working out and his response was something like "not most of the time but I like how it makes me feel" it was so good to know he's a human and not a machine.
At no point did I think he was a machine.
@@timkinley1779well you clearly didn’t get to see P90X Tony during his “diamonds of gold” era
He is and was an animal
Edit: yea you all remember the workout when he said that lol
His Bert kriesher reference, his is the funniest, quick witted, and creative force. Comedy has never seen anything like him.
Yeah that’s a common thing I’ve heard from celebrity trainers and shit. They don’t enjoy working out they enjoy the mental and physical high you get afterwards
@@buttersstotch4956 same thing with heroin
"It's already the second week of January, what's done is done."
I need that on a shirt lol.
My jaw DROPPED when he said he was 65 I honestly didn’t think he was older than 45
sameeeee
for real, it is unbelievable
Yup, literal shock here too.
I literally said "no way..." out loud to myself in the car haha
so sad that he's only got one more year to live
Two amazing guys. I lost 60+lbs with Tony, happened to wait on him and when I told him he made prove it by having me do my pterodactyl backing up sound effect in front of a busy restaurant. 🤣
Spent time with me, was encouraging and made a real connection in a short time.
Wonderful, wonderful guy.
CaAaaaaw … Ca-Caaaaaw
I've never heard of a bussy restaurant but it sounds delicious
Never leave out the ending with your son sharing stories. Always makes me laugh/cry. Beautiful!
i completely agree. i’m always so disappointed when the story ends. i could listen to him talk about a rabbit and a rock all day long. That age is so precious
No sane person gives a shit about what his kid is saying and he’s say the same about my kid
He said he'd only have a storybook ending sometimes, it won't be every episode
*Is an X-rated mime just a flasher?*
you seem fun@@streetballer8675
Hung out with this dude for a week in Hawaii 20 years ago and remember being impressed that he was 45. Still impressed.
Was he your wife's scuba diving instructor?
He was 45 when p90x1 was shot and released.
@@losethOS88he was her jujitsu instructor… why?
Daniel can bring a cardboard box as a guest and make this show amazing. He has such an ability to bring out what makes people interesting. So glad he’s back
Just imagine what he can bring out in a cardboard box
Don’t knock his guests tho. Tosh picks good guests honestly better than most comedy podcasts
Yeah Tony Horton isn't a nobody. P90x is the most famous at home fitness plan ever this dude is very much famous
Ask your parents who Tony Horton is
*This guy is pretty fit for 52, let alone 65yo.*
*Tosh should have Pierre and Tony do a go go dance-off in two boxes on his desk!*
"Sounds like maybe your dad was a criminal? He was, he worked through the church" as a preacher son, this is the funniest thing I've ever heard
" I'm medium height."
" We call that short in the tall world."
Love it, spitting truths Tosh.
As a 6'4 guy that comment killed me. I try not to make fun of "shorts" but Tosh doesn't give af 😂
Gotta bring the Short Kings back into the realm of reality 😂.
Is it just under water because you are not tall?
Is every side a deep end? 😂😂
And then people wonder why a lot of short people are angry lmao
Weeell, he left the stilted runner get away with it... And that dude was shooort lookin'!!
I owe Tony for changing my life my senior year of highschool. Turned the tables on my bullies after P90X. It made me a man. It was awesome.
"was I any good?"...one of my favorite episodes so far ❤
“You were wonderful!!” So cute man lol
The worst was that dead pet scam artist.
Is this loss?
I went to the comments to say the same thing!
Holy shit!!!! He got Tony Horton!!! Literally just finished up P90x Yoga!! This is surreal
Yo!!!!!! I'm 47 been doing p90 since 2010. Went from 245 to 170 in 11 months. Today is yoga day😊
Boomers really out here blowing out thier hearts just to squeeze an extra week out of life so they can screw thier grand children over on one last real estate sale. Lmao get rekted zoomers.
Holy Shit!! BabySealsAreYummy, and I just finished eating my baby seal!!
This is surreal 😊
After being in this podcast space for years it's crazy to see the difference between someone that's really good at interviews, like Tosh, and a lot of the amateurs with bigger followings. I'm glad he's made his way back to a regular show, these are great
Marc Maron paved the way and left a bunch of subpar rip offs in his wake, but Tosh is great. He's an excellent interviewer but also good at delivering engaging monologues. Perfect medium for his skill set.
“Is it just underwater because you’re not tall?” I literally spit out my coffee 😂😂😂
What a blast from the past. Completing P90X felt like a massive accomplishment back in the day. He’s even cooler than I thought he’d be. Great guest, great ep.
Holy shit!! Tony Horton!!! He's the guy that got me into fitness and becoming a trainer! Love him
Im loving this new gambling podcast, brought to us by someone definitely WITHOUT a problem.
And definitely lost 3k yesterday 😅
There is a gambling problem in the US and it isn't even a joke. All of my friends bet on shit constantly and they are just normal blue collar workers. My friend is a grocery store cashier and bet $100 on women's tennis. Like wtf. He told me he didn't even know the players.
It's because of how easy it has become. Apps have streamlined the service for customers of all classes@slaebae3434
@@slaebae3434 bet on some shit then little b i t c h
@@slaebae3434yup. Another addictive product that ruins most of its target audience.
This was such a delightful interview. I learned so much about Tony, he seems like a genuine sweet and interesting guy and it's nice to see him healthy. The last I read of him was the Ramsay Hunt Syndrome had really changed his life, for the worse. Daniel, PLEASE keep interviewing these types of guests.
Tony is the man. Been following for years. Such a positive and encouraging guy. Whenever I've felt down about something, or felt like I've failed, Tony's voice would pop in my head with a phrase he ends his P90X workouts with, "Just do your best, and forget the rest." Thank you Tony, you've helped me get through some tough times. You're an inspiration.
“Im 5’ 10!”
“… 5’ 9? 😏”
Tosh is so quick with it lol.
Holy crap. Tony was the reason I got into fitness like 14 years ago. Was NOT expecting this. Awesome!
Did you recognize him
I didn’t at 1st tell I listen to his voice
My dad too I remember seeing him workout to his videos, crazy 😂
Definitely one of the best guest thus far! 2 weeks felt like forever!
I know this is a comedy but Daniel did a great job with this interview.
He's doing the podcast game differently
It's no longer just comedy and I absolutely love it. Mixes the real world with a comedy side to it.
He should replace Jimmy Fallon.
@@rockerdude725973and Kimmel
@@pineapples5429amazing. They should call it reality TV since these are real life situations
Tony introduced me to yoga. P90X was all i did for years. Good man.
Did you like it? I always skips it and just did other workouts that day
I always thought about trying it.
I keep hearing it’s really good for the core.
Let me know what you thought of it
I like Yogi Bear. Just sayin’ Dave in Omaha
Yoga is the hardest workout in p90x imo - I do yoga 3-4 times a week now
I’ve been doing P90x since 2008 and yoga is definitely the hardest program for sure. I suggest don’t skip it. It literally helps you in every other facet of your fitness journey.
Tosh, I'm so happy you gave us this podcast to look forward to!! Hope you see this, have a great year 🎉
GET REPLIED TO NERD.
I did P90X back in the day and one of the things that stands out to me more than anything was Tony's authentic, fun, silly personality that made the intensity of the workouts he was pushing you through go by faster and easier. Was cool to hear his story and more of his thoughts. Awesome interview :)
Tosh.0 and P90x were peaking at the exact same time. This feels like a reunion even though it's not😂
Tony is very modest , but he is a genius. It was destiny for him to become a fitness trainer. There are 1000's of fitness programs out there, but his worked and was entertaining and inspirational.
@mattm6200The guy that plays Thor isn't constantly jacked. He's just a big dude who puts in the work for a few months.
Besides, he didn't specify which version of Thor. He said "the guy that plays Thor" and Tosh is the same height as that guy. So its not impossible to get jacked if you're close to the weight you want to be at.
You're right about the genetics though.
@mattm6200 I think that is Tony's point, just by being consistent you win. I have never thought someone would start working out to win a competition, that idea would have to come a couple years in. But everyone who works out is healthier.
@mattm6200 I mean pretty much anyone *could*. It'd be hell and you'd have to take a serious cocktail of "supplements" but it's doable.
@mattm6200 He's never advertised that his programs make you look like Thor, he was just answering the question if Tosh could ever be as jacked as Thor, which realistically he could. It's basically what Rob McElhenney did for season 13 of Always Sunny. Like Rob said in interviews, anyone can do it, you just have to work out an extreme amount (literally quit your 9-5 job if you have one), have a personal chef make all your meals, avoid all alcohol, sugar, anything that tastes good, etc., vist a physician twice a week to monitor everything, and have world class hollywood trainers guide you through custom workout routines, oh and have lots of money to afford all that... which Tosh does lol.
“When people shake my hand, I want them to know that I’ve never worked”
Did P90x 4 times in a row in 2008-2009 and that program completely transformed my body. Thank you Tony Horton for kick starting my fitness journey for all these years.
I swear Tosh is living vicariously through his guests. I love it
FINALLY IVE BEEN WAITING FOR 3 WEEKS!
It's been too damn long lol
I just want to say I’m so glad Tosh is back…. I know you don’t do this shit for us, But thank you for coming back and being you and never changing
It means more to your fans and you’ll ever know
I've watched Daniel since he was a host on "10's." This is the first podcast I've actually subscribed to. Keep the border!!
Im a comedy dork from FL. This comment made my day. One of the best carlin interviews was done by dainel tosh.
Best pod on UA-cam so far this year.
whats a pod (dont answer I know but dislike the term)
Just sucks that there’s so few of them
@@Healcraftthis was incredibly autistic
@@kingofoblivion1822Apple reported having over TWO MILLION podcasts available. This is far from the only great one
One small critique: Tosh needs to laugh at his own jokes every time he tells one. Maybe when he gets big money he can buy a Mclaugh track machine do we'll know when he tells an unforgettable zinger.
"I would leave my wife and just go on a tear".😂😂😂😂😂 God I love the honesty of it.
He has a knack for making people he just met relaxed enough to chat with him like they're long time friends.
He gives them bill Cosby water
Great guest and subject matter, went by fast! As someone (now 54) who had 8 spinal stabilization and reconstructive surgeries from ages 42-45, due to a college injury, I would say the best fitness advice is MOBILITY. You know, core strength, flexibility and movement. I had to learn how to walk again, and it took almost 3 years of 3x weekly, 2 hours/day home physical therapy and I did it… HOWEVER, had I spent time in my 30s working on the aforementioned fitness areas, it would have been immensely beneficial. Instead I was a business executive who worked 14 hour days and ate constantly at the Palm, not good. Please don’t take your health for granted, it can change quickly and it’s so much harder if you’re not already doing stuff to be/stay healthy! Cheers ❤😊
I liked how he's a bit humble about himself. I'd expect him to be more full of himself. Always looking forward to Tuesdays.
I've done P90X 1 2 and 3 since 2011 and I've moved on since in my fitness but when Tony said he doesn't like working out most of the time I just loved how honest it was.
There is a 3???

I get so excited everytime he drops another show! Also cool to see Tony Horton, been a long time since I've done P90X in highschool.
TONY!!!! This man is a TRUE legend. I didn't hear about P90X until about 2010, but felt like I just came across the fountain of youth when I did. Those programs are life changing and super entertaining. We need an update on Dreya and Meren. GERMAN POTATO SOUP
Tosh, I’m really happy you made this podcast. This was a great episode, and there were such good vibes here. Keep it up and download your brain when you can 🫰
Dude is 65 years old! Unbelievable. He looks about the same age as Daniel.
No... .he doesnt.
@@consciousmachine413 He looks much closer to Daniel's age than 65. You're just a moron, lol.
Exercise matters! He's sure inspiring
Tosh looks younger than he is, too, at least 5 or 6 years younger than he is
“When people shake my hand, I want them to know I’ve never worked.” That’s incredible.
I missed this show bad. I just be saying "tosh shooow for sho" in my head sometimes. No one does it better, love you tosh
I can't believe Tony Horton is 65. I think this is the best podcast short driveway Daniel Tosh has done so far.
Doc Horton! P90x 100% changed my life when i was young enough to stick with it lol. He is so amazing and has the best attitude. Unlike all the get all the get skinny fast trash you see today, p90x worked because it was a regiment and god damn was it hard, but Tony always made you feel like he was right there struggling with you. The best!
I did two rounds of P90X - Tony is such an awesome guy. Great format and great interview.
I like this guy even more. He looks phenomenal. 40 years of working out will do that I guess.
I am 37 and workout daily and follow a lot of new young gym influencers….. AND I still, to this day own the P90X ab video (digital pirated copy) and use it at least 2 times a week! This guy is awesome!!!!
Look forward to every show! My favorite bordered show ever!
Thank you for coming out with this podcast Daniel. Your a breath of fresh air as far as the pod world goes😊
Finally! This is definitely my new favourite thing to watch. Keep the boarder
What a legend!! I grew up doing P90x back in high school! Helped stay in shape for football 🤣
Man, i never knew Tosh was the kind of guy to participate in anonymous strong man competitions. Great interview, love the content!
I was a big fan of the P90X program as a teen. Glad to see Tony looking good, great episode.
Tony F Horton. The mother of all P90X workouts.
"i'd like them to know ive never worked" XD that got me
Don't know how I only just discovered this show. I really like the format! You're a great interviewer!
This is my favorite new podcast
Why does he look like a mix between Matthew Lillard and Benedict Cumbersnatch
Keep cranking these out! Love them
i legit woke my mom up one morning at 4 am to buy an over weight 13 year old me a copy of p90x, i lost about 50 pounds over the course of the summer so much so my friends didnt recognize me when school came back around. Thank you Tony.
Another great show. Thanks, Tosh!
My favorite part of this podcast are the animations and the bedtime stories.
So glad to have Tosh back!!!
I learned how to work out because of this guy. Awesome dude.
"Was I any good?" Man... Gave me so much hope at 38. Holy shit. Much love.
This was the best gamblers anonymous meeting I've been to sense the divorce. Thanks big D
P90X was my favorite exercise routine for many years. Thanks Tony!
Tosh show fo sho. Love you Daniel
65?! Holy shit he looks amazing
I absolutely love Carl.
Ive lost track of how many times Ive done P90X, double digits for sure. Tony got me started on living healthy. He's the man.
I’m SOOOOOO HAPPY U R BACK!!!! LOVE ya😊
Daniel's interview skills are genuinely fantastic. He would have been the greatest late night show host ever (Thank god he didn't)
"Is it just under water cause you're not tall?" I WAS DYIIIIING!
I know celebrities arent getting interviewed but i hope for some reason matthew lillard makes an appearance. You two would have unbelievable chemistry.
Me and my wife starting on week 3 of p90x today! Best workout program ever
@ToshShow is the greatest. I’m glad he’s keeping busy.
The only podcast I like before watching
I still use my P90X dvds, when I'm ready to workout at home😍. Legs & Back is the best.
Wonderful show, always excited for a new episode
I did P90X and it was awesome. I remember the first time doing it looking forward to the Yoga day as a break. I could not have been more wrong, the yoga was by far the hardest day! It was no joke!!
I missed Tosh so much. God I love that border!
The best part of Tosh.0 was the interviews, when you would go off script and just talk. Terrific stuff, intern. You tell Tosh I said so, if you ever actually see him, which I doubt, but, you never know.
Way better than other podcasts. Doesn't need A-list celebrities and can make it interesting, funny and entertaining.
Awesome guest in this one! Cannot wait to see who Tosh is gonna bring on next! 💯🗣️
TONY HORTON! This was my g!!! P90x I use to do for YEARS!!! I still have the DVDS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🫡🫡💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
No better time than first pod after new years to have a personal trainer on lol
Him saying he bet 3 grand on the huskies absolutely killed me😂
What a great interview. I need to start listening to this show regularly. The "is every doorframe a gym to you" question about killed me. 😂🤣
I DID miss you! Glad you’re back and got my family to start watching you too.😊
Awww…my rabbit can’t jump either because she is a Netherland Dwarf and has terrible depth perception.🐇
I hope you dont have children watching this... however, knowing the majority of the tosh audience are transgender liberals this is probably the least worrying thing about your parenting
Legends. Both.
These are always so damn fun! I love the fact that Tosh always has me laughing! We could watch him talk to Carl and it would still be amazing! Speaking of Venice watch the GIV!
Thank you Tosh for being awesome. Looking forward to more!
He's 65?! He looks great.
