Its a meditation mantra dedicated to Lord Ganesha, and we chant it before starting any new venture. We chant it when inner or outer obstacles are holding us back to get to our true self and fully realising our potential.

Im a Christian and always had a desire to find God and the fact that there are so many religions to choose one which one is right? We can all be wrong? Ive made the mistake in judging other religions. But Ive come to the understanding that God is one and he has many names and I believe its up to him to judge---all we should do here on earth is love and be loved. Live in harmony and do no harm to none. God, Lord Ganesha please help me remove the darkness within me, my family line including my ancestors, my partner and our lives. Don’t focus on religion. Respectfully, FUCK religion. A lot of people mislead the public. I was a non believer & non spiritual person up until 3 years ago. I saw truth & actually saw pure light. I saw God. At that point, I began meditating & getting my soul / mind together. I don’t have a religion. My full focus is God, keeping my soul fed & my mind focused. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. A lot of lost souls speak like they know what they are saying. This is something you’ll feel, your connection to not only yourself & God but with the universe as a whole.

A group of blind men heard that a strange animal, called an elephant, had been brought to the town, but none of them were aware of its shape and form. Out of curiosity, they said: "We must inspect and know it by touch, of which we are capable". So, they sought it out, and when they found it they groped about it. The first person, whose hand landed on the trunk, said, "This being is like a thick snake". For another one whose hand reached its ear, it seemed like a kind of fan. As for another person, whose hand was upon its leg, said, the elephant is a pillar like a tree-trunk. The blind man who placed his hand upon its side said the elephant, "is a wall". Another who felt its tail, described it as a rope. The last felt its tusk, stating the elephant is that which is hard, smooth and like a spear.
We are all blind but we know of this thing that we touch, we just can't grasp all of it at once. This in itself is how all religions happened. Were all describing the same phenomenon the only difference is our perspectives is based in cultural differences. No religion is right and no religion is wrong at the same time (Ying yang, lotus, every living being is simultaneously dying...) the trouble lies in the egos of men who cling to the righ- ness of knowing their respective truths... the plot twist to the cosmetic comedy is were all right but to egotistical to admit it... cheers 🍻

This mantra works like a magic. Was hvng difficulty in conceiving. In 2019 had a misscarriage. In 2020 started medication to conceive bt stopped the treatment after one month itself. Started chanting this mantra morning nd evening believing that I will b blessed with a baby girl nd will hv a healthy pregnancy. In 2021 conceived without any medication. Had beautiful healthy pregnancy nd delivered a beautiful nd healthy baby girl this year may month. Lord Ganesha gives you everything you wish for bt should hv inevitable faith in Him

Aroeup - I have no intention of being nasty, but you lack logical rigour*( probably not your fault as it s so common not to be taught by most, if not all conventional education systems. It seems that corrupt politicians, who are so obsessed with obtaining-retaining power that they want their populations deliberately dumbed down & passive so we are easier to control while they operate @ our expense, rather than caring for us as they claim! )* & need to understand that ASSOCIATION IS NOT CAUSATION ! The most you can claim is random coincidence. - Personally I eventually got so ticked off with the conventional education system I taught myself how to get myself on the internet & RE-EDUCATE myself - works well for me -once you learn to sort out the "wheat from the chaff" - Which leads back to the rigour I mentioned - & that's mainly about paying attention to small details. I also have anxiety and thus insomnia, alcoholic leanings, and a low outlook overall.
hearing this. I feel calm. easier to fall asleep, and that things just are not as bad as I thought they were.
and then looking into Ganesha being the remover of obstacles.
curious as it seems the obstacle that needs to be removed is myself. (not in a self harm way. more I'm the obstacle to myself "I am my own worst enemy"

Thank you for sharing. I am in a similar situation, and I've also been helped. As you heal, I suggest trying this same kind of thinking about interpersonal relationships as well. You may find that problems "between people" are really problems "within people" - sometimes people need to go back to that place of self reflection, heal, and reconnect, all the while considering their innate connection. There is a lot of corruption of religion in the world, but the sincere teachers all want us to recognize the goodness within and carry it forward, spread it around. Thanks again, I'm glad you made it here also.
I like to look at is as though we all have old habits or negative "conditioning" that holds us back (ie: our ego), but behind or beyond that our true inner nature is pure... we simply need to remove the obstacles to the truth. With this perspective I don't see my "true self" as my own worst enemy, but rather the mental conditioning, limiting beliefs, and old energy that I've been hanging onto. That way as I clear out the baggage I am freeing my pure clear true nature.

I have severe insomnia, sleeping pills just don't work on me. So I listened to this and I got 3 hours sleep IN ONE GO !! This is unheard of for me to sleep like that. Many many blessings.
Did you try Magnesium?
I'm going to assume you don't already do this....do a bikram or hot yoga class as late at night as possible. Let go of the pre-conceptions that it won't help you sleep or expectations that it will work and see what happens.
Try Hemp oil full spectrum also in conjunction with this mantra..
Try drinking golden milk before bed. It helps you sleep. It warm milk with turmeric, ginger, black pepper and honey.

I have started to listen to this Chant yesterday because I was feeling so much depressive feelings the last 3 weeks. And I can not belive how much positive feelings are rising up in myself since I startet to listen to this!! I feel so much peace and love and unit since yesterday. I deleted my Instagram, Facebook , no TV and I am not gonna listen to Mainstream Music for the next 4-5 weeks, just Chants and meditative music :) I am already excited if something will be changing/transforming in my mind

He is so kind and wonderful. I am thankful that he works with me and my family. As an ex Christian , I was nervous when I first came to him about my court case. I was drawn to him. When I tell you Ganesha busted the case wide open, that's exactly what he did. I am so grateful that he helped me. At first I thought he wasn't going to because of how things looked, then things just worked out. That was my first time calling on him, he really showed out. Thank you Ganesha.

I meditated and then automatically bowed in gratitude and respect as I heard this mantra for the first time... After a while I read that NAMAHA means "I offer you my greetings, I bow to you"
This makes sense. No wonder religion tells us all this stuff is EVIL! They know you don't need a middle man. All religions would lose control if everyone knew this worked. But if you think it's bad or evil in some way, you'll never try it. This is their goal!

I’m currently reading a book called Healing Mantras, so that book brought me here. This whole year has been a huge struggle for me. I’m currently going through a workers comp case and the company I work for is making it difficult for me in so many ways possible. All this case issues have caused tremendous depression on me. I’m chanting this mantra with hopes to help my case move along. I pray that Lord Ganesha hears me!

I have seen that this mantra has helped me open doors to things that I never thought were possible. This mantra gave me the strength I needed to rise up from my current situation. I think maybe try a Saraswati mantra before an exam and pray to her to give you the strength and knowledge you need to pass your exams.I think you could also do both mantras, meaning this one and a Saraswati one. I am a student myself right now! I’ve been struggling with this since I been out of school for 11 years. Coming back is hard because I need to brush up on the basic things. I’m aiming to be a straight A student so far listening to any type of mantra to be honest has helped me. Especially right now my stress levels are a bit high because of my workers comp. case. I feel any soothing type of mantra has helped me center myself. Find a balance with what I’m going through and I also incorporated yoga in my morning routine and while doing that I do listen to Hindustani classical’s, like Ravi Shankar. The second I heard this mantra, I felt like crying and I'm not unbalanced in my emotions. However, this struck such a deep chord.
I sleep listening to OM chants at 417hrz as, it is grounding for my root chakra and brings a sense of safety and security, but this mantra feels like it heals at such a deeper level. I'm stunned at how much this has resonated with me.
It's like a warm blanket soothing fears. It vibrates security.

I am so very thankful. My missing cat came home last night. at 11pm my hubby heard a cat crying and went downstairs to investigate. He found our cat Neo crying in front of the neighbour's door. My hubby managed to grab him and brought him home. He lost weight and was starving. He has been eating up a storm since last night. I am so very thankful and happy to have Neo back. We have been worried sick for the last two week since he went missing! Thank you x

I grew up in rural Canada in the mid 60,s,early 70;s..one summer evening when I was six yrs old ganesh appeared to me,,,,,i was terrified and amazed I never heard or experienced east indian people culyure or religion....only had 2 channels on t.v...I was crying he toldme his name and asked why I was afraid don't be afraid of me...steven I will always be with you....never told anyone till now.
