I'm completely floored and in love with your band ❤️ I hope I'm not too late to let all of you know you've made a poor old man very happy and filled my heart with Love 💞 thank you 💓
Thank you Hammock. Fixated on this blissful interpretation for years. It feels like you were meant to cover and elevate this song. What really gets me is the chill buildup from 4:30 to the euphoric pay off at 6:10. I'm so glad this caught your attention.
If we can’t have Catherine Wheel continuing to perform their own material, I am sure there are millions of us more than happy to hear these guys do such a wonderful job in covering those songs. This is utterly beautiful, emotive, respectful of the original but giving it an additional twist but not detracting from the emotion that spurred the initial concept. I could, and do listen to this every day... You guys are utterly beautiful people and deserve every accolade... XX
By far most thrilling terrestrial composition I've ever listened. I don't know what's wrong with hard rock, heavy metal......this stuff is beyond any comparison.....
Man..... this is good, but the entire Ferment album is one of the most criminally underrated LPs of all time. This is a more feminine version (clearly) which is fine, but the original kicks infinite ass.
@@sillysausage4549 I totally agree with you about Ferment being one of the most criminally underrated albums of all time, and maybe CW one of most criminally underrated bands of all time. That being said, Hammock's rendition does always give me the thrill and trance none other did.
Honey, why you calling me so late? It's kinda hard to talk right now Honey, why you crying, is everything okay? I gotta whisper 'cause I can't be too loud Well, my girl's in the next room Sometimes I wish she was you I guess we never really moved on It's really good to hear your voice saying my name It sounds so sweet Coming from the lips of an angel Hearing those words, it makes me weak And I never wanna say goodbye But, girl, you make it hard to be faithful With the lips of an angel

+mk shade Exactly.....What are they? Explosions in the Sky, Pelican.....Sigur Ros, Mono, God is an Astronaut.
If I don't know any better, I'd say this version is even better than the original one, and I'm feeling not knowing any better...

Honey, why you calling me so late?
It's kinda hard to talk right now
Honey, why you crying, is everything okay?
I gotta whisper 'cause I can't be too loud
Well, my girl's in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on
It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words, it makes me weak
And I never wanna say goodbye
But, girl, you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel
"skin is like nutella"
Preach.
Ohh dammit. Thanks a lot
