@@aem870 that’s not what I said I didn’t say strategy lol running backs are paid like 15 million a year and are better at they job then some QBs who are making 60 million a year
@@thecomediankodybean Strategies used in the game is based on who is available and what gives the team the best chances to win; it is decided by coaches, not the owner. The teams have wide receivers, 3 wide receivers were taken in the top 10 of the previous draft. A lot of running is being used; maybe defenders are doing better at covering receivers not the owners not wanting to pay receivers, they have receivers.
@@thecomediankodybean They just gave a lot of star wide receivers contracts recently, clearly they value them. Quarterbacks might be throwing many picks and defenders might be doing better in covering receivers so the running is being used as a different option.
Any chance owners are trying to cut back on how much they pay the QBs by throwing less?
I don't think owners give the game strategy. Coaches probably go with what gives them the most winning chances.

@@aem870 you don’t have to pay the star wide receivers if they not catching the ball

Qbs aren't as talent in throwing anymore. These run first qbs taking are what teams are looking for.
The scouts went after all these running quarterbacks who cant throw the ball and thats what everybodys got now what a shocker!
Running the ball & stopping the run have always equated to pretty good team success.
The running game is basic football running the ball directly up the middle is the shortest path to the end zone regardless of field position.
Offensive line play now revolves around run blocking. You don’t see as many athletic pass blocking oilmen anymore.
They need to treat the overpaid QBs how they treat the RBs
