New Coanda Screen Intake for the Micro Hydro

In 2020 I installed a Micro Hydro Permanent Magnet Alternator from Langston Alternative Power. The screen intake that I built is made from window screen on a wooden box. Although this has worked well it is not going to last forever. In this video I meet with Elgin to talk about a new intake screen called a Coanda Screen. I have a creek where I live at but not enough room to lay pipe because a beaver built a dam. If i go the opposite direction theres no drop in elevation at all.

I think the folks over at Project Kamp are going to eventually need a micro hydro system. Currently all they have on their property is a portable solar panel. They've only been on the property for a month or two. We'll have to see if their creek/stream flows during the summer. They're in Portugal.
It's a shame about Bill's system.

O nice, looks like you are going to professionalise you micro hydro system. I actually was wondering alreday last year how long your intake (with all these bicycle inner tube sealing towards the rock) will last. Also: The off-grid system of your neighbour is still running (that made all the noise in the part of the video were you were at your intake). Obviously, it was not frost-shattered. Do you plan to show an update of that system?
