As a cloaker, I'd say the utility of cloak against pilots is less about fooling the enemy or maintaining stealth, but more about giving yourself that second or more that people need to process what they are seeing, as because it is just that little bit harder to see you not only have a range of perceptibility just person to person but also properly process what they are seeing idk how better to explain it, it works for me and people hesitate 70% at least a little in my experience. Its also ok at running away, but of course when a pilot sees you THEY SEE YOU and see you very clearly now. Having a lot of time on cloak I'd say that cloak is most effective against pilots in bright areas with plenty of light often natural light, as indoors it always seems a little easier to see, I don't know exactly why, something something light difraction but its best used outside. And as said in the video, Low Profile is absolutely necessary. Great video
The only time I use cloak is when the enemy Titan population has been too high for too long. Then I pull out cloak plus arc grenades and become a major distraction they can’t ignore, giving me or my teammates a chance to hurt them while they’re distracted. The best moment is when the Titan knows you’re there but can’t see you, so they just start shooting, punching, and dashing in the general area they think you’re approaching from, even if it isn’t the direction you’re approaching from.

i fucking love cloak, just something about the reliability of being able to be less visible is fucking great when you have to eject your titan while youre surrounded. hes also the by far the coolest looking pilot in the game
From cloak mains: would you rather fight against a stim user that is using -the CAR- any SMG? I didn’t think so… P.S. also if we give you to much trouble even when you’re a pilot, just turn around sometimes and pay attention to any unexpected sounds, you’re eventually guaranteed to catch us with our pants down doing stuff like that although acting too paranoid could detract from how well you can handle our teammates, all of this to say you just deal with us kinda like how you deal with a cloaked enemy in the other TF2.
As a cloak main I do not condone the statements made. They are just lies to make you a easier target. Under no circumstance maintain situational awareness and turn around (which will interrupt a execution and force the cloak pilot in a punch animation or a scramble to shoot) or throw a cooked nade below you and run, in case you here jump jets close by but haven’t been shot at jet. Simply run in a straight line and wallrun.

Of all the tacticals, cloak could use a rebalance the most. I think the duration and cooldown should be shorter. It doesn't have to be way different, especially not like the campaign. I think it was genius to have cloak so short in the campaign. Depends on the player honestly. This works similar to Crysis 2 cloak. I would say that one was even harder to spot, since you get a solid outline here. Don't know if I still could, but Crysis 2 cloak effectiveness was extremely dependent on you opponents abilities. In the good old times, cloak was really not useful against me on medium to short range. On long range you could get away.
What ihave found to work is the tactical regen mod on weopons, you can get way more uptime with it and it solves the issue of not wanzing to get your cloak brokemän since after a kill youll have it up anyways
ttgolll let's be honest you're yapping because you can't hard-counter the cloak and holo mains but as a holo main who switched to cloak to use shotguns more efficiently so that I can get that sweet g10 black camo for my shotguns I'm going to to give you some tips to avoid them altogether SO THAT YOU CAN FINALLY GIVE US THE GODDAMN FLATLINE REVIW!!! STEP 1: PERCEPTION IS KEY vision and sound are the key to stop getting ambushed by both factions listen to jumpkits, footsteps and and if you feel suspicious even just a little bit relocate and immedieatly start listening and watch for any signs a cloaked pilot will kick dirt and water behind them as they are running through it if you can draw on rivers or muddy road its cover will be blown meanwhile a hologram will not be affected by any of this but real pilot is still vulnurable STEP 2: USE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT using snipers, grenadiers and machine guns againt cloak are useless as they can avoid them altogether through evading line of fire, sharapnel blast and its hard to keep track of them while they are affar as further they are more effective the cloak will be and same rules apply to holo as well best way to dispatch both are using shotguns (all of them are viable hell even a mozambique will get the job done) assualt rifles (flatline works the best due it being all around strong in every way possible but all will do) submachine guns ( ESPECIALLY VOLT BC IT HAS THE HIGHEST RANGE OF ALL SMGS but the others are great too) as you can see the pattern here right now using something high damage,accuracy and firerate is useless as what you need is just consistency and precision which exactly what these weapon are designed for besides thats also what cloak and holo mains use so but keep that in mind you're making a gamble in that position as both of you have an opening to melee each other lastly the most effective thing to use is threat scope as it completely defeats the purpose of cloak and holo STEP 3: WRITE DOWN PREVIOUS STEPS INTO YOUR MIND
you can actually see a minor wavering effect in the air when a pilot is cloaked near you, if you are paying attention you can probably melee a cloak pilot if they get too close

Titanfall 2 is just the best multiplayer game ever. Still over 2,200 current activitie players during the day and 600 active players at night which is crazy. Keep this game alive.
females tends to have smaller feet, and theres not much need for a crotch plate on us females since we have a smaller hitbox down there if you know what i mean. so its pretty clear if you give the armor a second thought about which sections needs more or less cover.
If you see them, they probably have already seen you and with a kill time of 0.1-2 sec in this game and very fast movement cloak works as intended most of the time
It is useful when flanking. Most of the time, grunts will immediately start shooting you and blow your cover. With clock, they will ignore you, this can work at certain timings for an early game advantage. Then, you can just follow an ally pilot and surprise refrag the enemy when they are dead, or help them win an unfair fight against 2 or 3 pilots.
