Wow, this was so great. Ruth was so "welcoming" and friendly. My sister and I were just talking about the fact that families rarely sit around the table and hold hands to give thanks to God when eating anymore, so to see it and hear the prayer was just amazing. God is good! I hope Avery's wedding and marriage is blessed beyond her wildest dreams. Thank you.

I like the hydrangeas flowers arrangement. I noted the distinction between the mophead flower and lace cap flowers with the beautiful greenery accented leaves adjusted the vase that holds and it gives a delightful contrast. Mrs. Kelley teaches so effortlessly that it gives me the aspiration to learn to arrange flowers. I appreciate this video. I don’t know about anyone else’s but every time I see any video of Mrs. Ruth McKenzy, I lean something. Thank you.🙏

How lovely to be able to start your own business , with the history of her mom. I am sure when Mom retired , she referred her following to her daughter! And that Mom can step in and help for special occasions, like your daughters wedding. Love the ribbing on the delicate little bud vases. I was going to say.. there is no doubt in my mind , that you can do incredible arrangments. You have a natural eye for composition and color. My friend who makes a killer chicken salad uses a food processor to shred her chicken to her desired consultancy..chuncky or smooth. I do add celery seed also and chopped glazed walnuts.. and serve it on mini croissants.

The watermelon, etc. salad was a sensation on the internet last year. Ours also had cucumber, no arugula. It is a wonderful marriage of different flavors. We bought the feta from a Greek man at the local farmers market and it was much creamier and milder than store bought. It made the salad even better.

Using a variety of garden greens makes for a more interesting arrangement. FYI: Oasis is not good for the environment so I will not buy it again. The good news is there is now eco friendly oasis. I usually do like the Japanese do for Ikebana and use a metal kensan or flower frog. That was the quickest and most delicious looking blueberry tart ever! and I liked the addition of fresh blueberries on top. I have an Italian oven and for some reason, one cannot use aluminum foil in the oven! Fortunately, a recipe for poaching that I have uses parchment on the bottom and then a greased a top layer of parchment to put over the chicken and tuck it around. I just started shredding chicken for chicken salad and I do believe it tastes better. Lots of little tips were offered and so nice to see your daughters helping out.

I wanted to see how you got the tart out in one piece! I am the same as you, blueberries are now a daily obsession to my yogurt and homemade granola. I will have to try the watermelon salad! Please switch to avocado "chosen" mayo..Hellmans has Bio engineer ingredients and our bodies can not process it! Made in God's image has never been more under attack and our food supply is tainted. Wonderful spread and beautiful women of God! My kind of party! Congrats on the upcoming nuptials and marriage. May God Bless your union sweet gal!

I envy your ability to do the things you’re doing now, but it seems your kids are a bit older…so I will be patient and enjoy the blessings of this season as much as I’m able. 😊 Also, I’m very interested to check out your cookbook. Instead of using Oasis/Florist foam, which is incredibly bad for the environment, try using chicken wire that you can mold into the shape of the vessel you are using. It can be re used multiple times. Or buy flower "frogs" which you can buy in good florists or I believe Amazon does it too. 🥰

It can be difficult to focus on content/message at times. Cooking chicken salad is not that strenuous! Your actions show people you know what you are talking about, but at times, your actions diminish your credibility. You're making a large amount of chicken salad; get a bigger bowl. Shredding chicken-great, you provided a tip, but God made hands before he made tools. There's nothing wrong with using your hands to mix big batches; restaurants always do it. Glove-up!
If these are genuinely your recipes and you always make them for your family, most people know them by memory. There's no reason why you need to keep plugging your book for each vignette. Are you here to sell your book or show the audience the ease of making your recipes from your book?

@DevelopingStartups, there are some people who are comfortable conveying a clear, precise message with our actions. We have EXPERIENCE. I can't be too far off my rocker if others like my comment, and it sparked me to take the time to conjure a reply. Stage left is right around the corner, or you can start developing startups with other pretentious people. I just love the handle and the hype of labels; "I am boss" personality.
